UPDATED: YOUR WAITER TOLD US, that you buy many of your products, in bulk frozen, he said to save time. I've seen your bags of frozen food that you state are fresh. Your own admission that you get fresh produce from South America and then freeze them is laughable when the same fresh produce can be found 20 minutes away. I also know your past Chef, yup, alot of the food you offer is bought frozen. You seafood comes from a frozen bag. Let me start by saying, we went for an early dinner at 3:30pm. There were only 2 other tables with customers. It was 90 degrees, the owner sat us at window and it was hot. We requested a table away from window and having a child with us, a table with a bench. The owner initially denied us the change in tables with attitude. We didn't understand as there were about 7 empty tables with benches. We asked if we can put 2 tables together. With attitude the owner states "If you want a bigger table then sit at a bigger table" then dramatically and with attitude proceeded to finally honor our request. Still only 2 other customers in the entire restaurant. We placed our order and some of our dishes tasted wonderful but the Jalea Mixta was so dry. The seafood was so dry that we had to dunk it in sauce to bare it. As a Latino woman, I had to speak out about the Yucca they put in the Seafood dish! It was so dry, it looked like pieces of paper. See photo. This is not what Yucca should look or taste like. I informed our waiter and ready for it he said 'That's the way there are since we cook mostly everything from frozen", Then he stated. "They don't sell Yucca in Colorado". We told him "Yucca is sold in many places in Colorado and even just 20 minutes away". He then responded " It's just so hard to make fresh Yucca so we prefer frozen". BTW the plantains are also frozen! We requested another order of Yucca, he first had to get permission from the owner, only to get another order of the same dry Yucca which they charged us for! We were finished with our meal and waited and waited and waited for the bill. No attention to us. There was nothing taken off our bill , we didn't ask , but the new waiter, yes the initial waiter had left, we never saw him again, noticed that we didn't eat any of the Yucca and when she looked at it and she said "Oh my, yes thats not good, I understand why you couldn't eat it". He then spoke to the owner and the "nice" owner came to our table to discuss the Yucca! Not knowing that the waiter that left had told us that the Yucca was frozen, she proceeds to tell me that they got a bad batch of fresh Yucca. We then told her that that her waiter had told us its frozen not fresh. She immediately ONLY then gave us a discount off our bill. So if you want to be mistreated by the owner a d staff and want to eat thawed frozen food then this is the...

I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend and was genuinely shocked by how I was treated. From the moment we walked in, the staff — including both the hostess and our server — made no effort to acknowledge me while being friendly towards my boyfriend. Every question and bit of conversation was directed solely to him, as if I weren’t even there. Mind you he was speaking nothing but English the entire time so this could not have possibly been a "language barrier issue". I paid the bill, and the server still handed the card and receipt back to him, despite it clearly being mine and placed right in front of me.
The food was average at best — nothing I’d return for, especially having had far better Peruvian cuisine back home in L.A. But what truly ruined the experience was the sense of being deliberately ignored. I came in polite and respectful, and left feeling invisible. The female staff made it CLEAR that I was not welcome/respected there.
I don’t know what the reason was — whether personal, cultural, or something else — but it was uncomfortable and frankly disrespectful. I won’t be returning.
Update after owner response: While I appreciate the attempt to address my concerns, the response felt dismissive and deflective. The restaurant was nearly empty when we were there — maybe six tables max — and we were one of the only two-person tables, clearly a man and a woman. There was absolutely no confusion possible over who handed over the card, especially since it was placed directly in front of me and had my name on it. If this level of service is considered normal, then it confirms I made the right decision...
Read moreI recently dined at Rosario’s , and I must say, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. From start to finish, the restaurant failed to meet even the most basic expectations.
The service was abysmal, to say the least. The staff seemed indifferent and unresponsive to customers' needs. It took an incredibly long time for someone to take our order, and when they finally did, they appeared rushed and inattentive. We had to repeatedly request refills and basic condiments, which significantly detracted from the overall dining experience.
The quality of the food was equally disappointing. Every dish we ordered arrived burnt and lacked any semblance of flavor. It was evident that the kitchen had completely mishandled the preparation of the dishes. The burnt taste permeated every bite, leaving us extremely unsatisfied. The presentation of the food was also subpar, with haphazard plating and sloppy arrangements.
Moreover, the overall environment of the restaurant was far from welcoming. The ambiance was dull and lacked any character or charm. The decor appeared dated and neglected, contributing to a sense of disarray and uncleanliness. The uncomfortable seating and inadequate lighting further compounded the negative atmosphere.
Given the terrible service, burnt food, and poor environment, I cannot recommend dining at Rosario. It was a regrettable experience that left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I strongly advise seeking an alternative dining option to ensure a more...
