I hate to write a bad review because the food is sooo good, but I have to after our last experience there on Sunday. We came in and the restaurant wasn't that busy at the time. There were several tables that were stacked high with dirty dishes because there was only one teenage girl working the whole room. So we sat down and waited over 30 minutes before I had to get her to come over for our drink order. After another 20 minutes, she then told us her grandma was getting them but 15 minutes after that she came back to our table to ask us what we wanted to drink again. So that was an outright lie. She brought our drinks, but my daughter didn't get hers and we couldn't get her attention again. She was bsing with the other table when she should have been paying attention and actually WAITING ON TABLES AND CLEARING THE OTHERS! One table got up to leave because they had enough waiting and they came rushing out to get them to stay. After another 10 minutes, we decided we've had enough and got up to leave. They said the drinks were free and I told the girl she needs to get her act together and learn how to wait tables. She then wanted to start arguing with me, but the grandma told her to go to the back and shut up. I can't decide if we will be back ever, the food is insanely good. Maybe to go orders only. So much for my...

The non-descript exterior hides a gem inside. The food, although tasty, could have more seasoning to create exceptional cuisine. The staff is friendly and the decor is delightful. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience.
I had the Chicken Cacciatore and my father had the Spaghetti. He mentioned that he really enjoyed his dish. I wish my food had more seasoning as it was a bit bland. Also, there was very little chicken in my heaping portion of penne. Yes, the portions are huge! The cheesy bread appetizer was exceptional.
It would take only a little push to create an exceptional interior to complment the dining experience. Personally, I'd like to see them make the interior more posh. The rear accent wall, the light fixtures, and the paint scheme are a wonderful touch, yet small things such as hand-written notes posted here and there, and generic numbers for each seating area distract for such a pleasant environment.
The bathroom could be cleaner - and store the cleaning supplies in a closet somewhere instead of next to the sink. The one person at a time setup could be a problem when the place is busy.
The laid-back music fit the restaurant's theme, and the overall ambient level is just right to be able to have a pleasant conversation with your...
Read moreNot sure ya'll get out much......from the outside lack (weeds, faded dollar store flowers mixed matched with price tags still on them, bricks that were suppose to outline the boarder, didn't) to the lack of greeters, direction, and wait staff. The decor was very worn, ripped, tiles missing. John Taffer (bar rescue)would have had a stroke! There were so many wine bottles displayed seeming like this was a priority, but they had NONE for sale. The pricing was way too high for the terrible quality and tasteless food. Water was even served in Styrofoam cups and napkins with flatware.....no knives to cut your food though?! Ordered a "Caesar salad" that didn't come until it was asked for once food arrived. Ordered veal parmesan really bad....the spaghetti was like one opened a can of stewed tomato's and put it over noodles (can you say acid reflux)? The only thing I felt safe with was a pizza.........blah....Pizza Hut on Judson was far better! We have lived in Longview for 3 years, this is the first and last time we will be customers. Im sorry, hoped it would be different and this review would be...
