Quite good but not amazing- IF, you know quesabirrias😉 Consommé lacks key flavor notes and it’s kinda fatty and salty vs sublime. I’ve lived in the east bay (SF) and quesabirrias are sadly way more prevalent than in LA. But even grunge taco trucks there are better than this.

Still, if you’re a virgin or inexperienced, you’ll love it. Here’s the thing, quesabirrias are the best of simple Mexican foods in the US. So of course most will go nuts discovering them. But slow cooking produces crazy good flavorful juices and I suspect these guys rush the process or something… Their consommé simply doesn’t have a range of head-spinning flavors that it should. The pickled red onions, same.

Cheese was a gagging amount so if you love cheese you’ll be in heaven!

You know how they usually have that wonderful aroma that goes through your nose… these also feel rushed and taste a little more like raw onions versus pickled.

Still, for a food truck...

The taste is there, but the fixings are not fresh, and the tacos suffer from lazy practices. All the salsas and radishes and onion/cilantro are pre-bagged in plastic. As such, the fresh ingredients essential for sprucing up birria tacos taste stale. I mean, it’s California – fresh produce is not expensive. The tacos themselves are a soupy mess. I squeezed a full tablespoon of liquid from EACH taco. The tortillas don’t taste fresh. Dipped in red sauce, the flavor resembles gourmet Doritos. The meat itself is tender but lacks dynamic flavor of better birria joints. It all just tastes savory and salty. If you find yourself here, eat your food RIGHT AWAY and OUTSIDE YOUR CAR. Otherwise your tacos will disintegrate into your lap...

I herd their food was good , so I came by to try it , I live 15 mins away , I ordered three food items plus four drinks , I came home to find out my food was wrong I had to call them and drive back , with whatever food I had that got cold , I asked them to remake my food plus make the missing items , they don’t speak English which is hard so she didn’t understand what I was saying , she was trying to give my money back but I repeated myself to her and told her I don’t want my money I want my food , she still try to give me back the food I had already asked to re cook since I had to drive back and fourth , and they didn’t seem to understand much. Maybe it was just a bad day for them , at the end I did get my food a very...

Found this on a search, the food off the truck was off the chain. From tacos with guacamole plus everything else to vampiro the taste was delicious & authentic. As we drove up we witnessed customers eating on their vehicles, so when in Rome do as the Romans. I haven’t eaten on a car since my teenage years, and there I stood at 60 being the old wild one of the bunch. Excellent food, a must try for both residents & travelers!!!
