Bonello's New York Pizza — Restaurant in Los Angeles

EDIT: 11-25-2015 They've lost their luster and have deteriorated in quality over the past months and I can no longer hold to my statement of "best pizza in Pedro" sadly. Along with that, their prices have spiked once again I now have trouble recommending my once favorite establishment. I can say now that I am thoroughly whelmed by the quality and customer service provided.

ORIGINAL: Let me just start by saying, this is easily the best pizza in all of San Pedro; I can say that without a bit of hesitation... From the scratch-made dough and sauce right up to the Pepperoni these guys use, it's darn close to perfect. I've yet to taste an item on their menu which isn't up to a standard of quality sorely lacking in higher-end establishments of the genre and would choose it over most in a heart beat. With that said, my one qualm comes in the price; while not outrageous, it is a bit high considering the portion sizes. Other than that, I would recommend this establishment to anyone in need of a good pizza fix anytime,...

Went to Bonello’s on a Friday night with my wife. We ordered a small cheese pizza and a happy roll. My wife enjoyed her pizza but I wasn’t impressed with the happy roll. I loaded up my happy roll with sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, onion, mushrooms and black olives. The happy roll lacked flavor. You would think with everything I had in it it would be packed with flavor. The sauce tasted bland. I wasn’t a fan of the type of sausage they used either. I’m used to crumbled sausage not round sausage slices. It was actually gross. And the fact that they are a cash only establishment made it rather inconvenient. We had to walk to the 7-11 to get cash. The only reason I rated them a 3 was the establishment was clean, the staff was really nice and my wife enjoyed her pizza. If I were to ever return I would probably stick with a slice of pizza. (Definitely not a sausage one either if they use the tasteless round one on their pizza too) All the other reviews about the happy roll is overhyped because it’s honestly...

Clean 🚰 Parking in back 🚗 Angsty staff. 🙄Young 20s or older teens running the place at nigth. 🤑Seems thinly tolerant to customer's. 🤷🏼‍♂️🙍‍♂️🙎🏻‍♂️Could be more welcoming but, what to expect from youngones from San Pedro ? 💨 Food is good portion sizes are extravagant for American style Italian. 🇨🇮 Menu is straightforward and simple like all the Italianish places in San Pedro. 📃 Prices are fair for the negiborhood. 💵 Call ahead for carrie out. 📞 Seems like it is locally owned and thats a good thing.⚗ San Pedro is changing and joints like this are hard to find in California and the reasons are obvious why places like this are harder to find. 🛡 Had a good time . 💊 Dine in, take out , or delivery your pick. 🍕 Door Dash no... Land Line yes . ☎️ They're other items on the menu other that pizza . But its going to be cheese...
