I am furious with the manager of this restaurant... her name is Marrisa and she us the rudest, most argumentative person I've ever talk to at any pizza hut or restaurant for that matter.
I called and spoke directly to Marrisa (who claims to be the GM) to find out if they have their own drivers or use Uber, DoorDash, or a delivery service.
She told me that they use their own drivers and I said , "Good, I don't like using outside delivery services"
I placed my order and then I get a message that doordash is on the way. I called back and got Marrisa back on the phone, and told her "that I just called and ask if you use your own drivers, or outside delivery like doordash" and she point blank, infatuquely said "that she use her own drivers"
When the driver (Matthew from Wisconsin) gets to me, I stop him at the elevator and told him that I cancelled the order because we don't use outside delivery, and looking at the three boxes of pizza that he had taken out the red bag... none of the pizzas had safety tape on them.
I called the rude, so called General Manager (Marrisa) back to make sure she cancelled the order (because Pizza Hut has a reputation for not refunding customer's money) and she said said "that they don't refund online orders" and I said I am on my way down there to get a receipt for my order" and she said, "we don't give receipts for cancelled orders"
I recieved a message from door dash customer service that the "order was handed to me", saying "please reach out to Matthew if I had not recieved it"
I then called the doordash number provided in the text... and Matthew answered the phone saying that Marrisa told him, "to mark the order delivered"
I asked him, "why would she tell you to mark a pizza delivered that you know you did not deliver?" He said that he just started, he's from Wisconsin and he took the pizza back to the store as not delivered.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PIZZA HUT- THE MANAGER LIES, IS A THIEF AND WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY. WE SPENT $46 DOLLARS.
This is becoming a common SCAM by Pizza Hut... the second time this has happened from two different cities.

In frustration I called and explained the situation and the Team Member kindly took my take-out order for pick-up. Guessing that wasted hour took me into their "rush hour" and the food when I got it home was nothing to brag about. We splurged and tried the new Hut Melt crust was dried out and flavorless. Eating it was like eating the fillings in a pizza box, disappointing. Also got the Alfredo Chicken w Cheese Sticks. There was only sauce on the bottom of the pan, not enough to toss the noodles in to coat them with, negligible cheese was sprinkled on the noodles. I melted butter to add to this entree to make it edible. The Cheese Sticks were great! The personal pan pepperoni w olives pizza was ok with a bland Original Crust. It used to be a delicious bonus for their pizza recipe. There must've been a strict rationing of sauces, cheeses, pepperoni and olives the day I was there because the food was a long way from how good it used to be. I'll look at the receipt, and the receipt stated classic ingredients. Marinara sauce. When I called and stated that my pizza had no pepperoni's on it..
