Upon hearing the name of this establishment, I knew that they had to be serving up delicious Korean food. You can't name yourself a mukbang if the food isn't worth a mukbang. USC college students are definitely super lucky to have this within close proximity of their campus. They are reasonably priced and offer large portions. Everything I ordered was pretty flavorful too. I'm not sure if they're moving away from offering kimbap but it was not available when I went. I was also limited to some sushi rolls too. It's okay, what I really wanted was the kimchi fried rice and the rice cakes so as long as they had that available, it didn't matter to me. You can tell the cooks here really care about their presentation because each dish was plated so cleanly. I personally loved and appreciated that attention to detail.
|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G || -Cross Streets are Vermont Ave. and W 36th Pl. -Parking is shared with other popular establishments in the plaza. It got crowded as we were leaving and there were numerous cars trying to get our spot.
|| F O O D || Mukbang Plate ($16.00) - I selected the spicy pork as my protein with the garlic noodles and with soy garlic sauce. The spicy pork was one of the best that I've had, and had a great spicy kick to it. I did feel like their garlic noodles were on the sweeter side, not sure if it's b/c I chose soy garlic but I would have thought that flavor would make the noodles more on the savory side. Still delicious though!
Kimchi & Pork Belly Fried Rice ($18.00) - You are missing out if you don't order this. It's probably one of the best kimchi fried rice that I've ever had. Super flavorful! I couldn't stop digging into this. I wish my egg was sunny side up so I could do the egg yolk pop.
Rose Ddukbokki ($17.00) - So creamy delicious. I love that the rose flavor gives the dish a slightly different flavor than the typical ddukbokki. It was a bit spicy for me but I couldn't stop drenching my rice cakes in that sauce.
Shrimp Tempura Crunch Roll ($9.00) - This one was good ,but nothing special that would make it any different than if you ordered at a...
ย ย ย Read moreThis little tucked away gem was so good. Let me start with the aesthetic of how this place looked, it was super clean and looked very nice on the inside kinda like a high end restaurant vibe to it. The staff was so friendly and courteous that it made my first time ordering very easy. We bought the Bulgogi Beef Fries, Pork Belly Plate, Bulgogi Beef Gimbap, and Bulgogi Beef Plates. The Korean Sweet and Spicy (Chojang) sauce was super good you have to try it. Let me tell you that just by having me wait for my order made my mouth water, I mean it smelled so good I could smell the meat ๐ that I could not wait to try it, and it was definitely worth it. Everything tasted fresh and if you happen to stop by, you got to try the drinks the Sac Sac grape ๐ and orange ๐ are delicious ๐. The only thing that my son didn't like was the sauce on the Bulgogi Fries ๐ so maybe just to be sure ask for sauces on the side depending on your taste buds. Otherwise the food was tasty, fresh, savory, and delicious. 10/10 you have to try it. Will definitely...
