We ate at the Carl’s Jr at LAX International Airport, (Concourse 8) during a long day of traveling back home from Tahiti. The burger, fries and shake were great, the price was right, but most importantly, the service we received from Cierra B. was EXCEPTIONAL. We travel a lot, and many airport employees seem rushed, often irritable and unfriendly, to be honest. (To be fair, they have a tough job). But Cierra stood out as a shining example of customer service: She was friendly, sweet, professional, fun and accommodating. Refreshing. Read moreEmployee kept placing orders for every item I enquired about. Wasn't really listening to what I said. She seemed to speak English as a first language so it was my accent or her lack of understanding. Next I presented her with an expire upon use coupon from my T-Mobile Tuesday app for a breakfast sandwich. She refused to look at it and said she didn't know how to put a code in for that. The other employee she asked said she didn't either and she then proceeded to tell me they didn't take coupons because they were a separate restaurant not part of the outside chain. Riiiiight... Annoyed...

No one to take an order so used the self service kiosk which had the audacity to ask for tips starting at 18% like it’s a steakhouse. So I place my own order, clean my own table, wait for nearly 20 minutes watching my fries get cold, and then expected to tip nearly $10?
