Great food but getting it on time is problematic. I've ordered from here a good 6 times now and once I was given the wrong toppings - BUT - it worked out because it turns out I loved the mistake and now I order the chicken every time.
Then on Super Bowl Sunday of 2019 I ordered for 7:00pm and it showed up 2 hours early. The driver was super nice and apologetic and offered to take it back but I couldn't condone the waste so he gave me a name to mention the next time I ordered. I get it, it's one of the busiest days of the year for delivery so I'm not mad. It was great as always and the delivery driver was very nice.
The next time I ordered I mentioned the error and was given free cake. A slice of chocolate and a slice of cheesecake. I was thrilled. They were delicious. The lady that delivered it was super nice and had on a really pretty hoody.
I put in another order today (02/27/19) for 7:00pm (between 7:00pm and 7:30pm) and it arrived at 5:30pm.
The driver was a different guy this time and it was a bit hard to understand him, combo of his accent and my terrible hearing, but he offered to take it back and bring it to me again at 7:00pm which I refused since there's no point in wasting perfectly good pizza over an innocent mistake.
I'm going to see if I can find the name of the guy the last driver told me to mention and see if I can get another complimentary slice of cake since we really don't want to eat for 2 hours and will just reheat it in the oven, but that's my only complaint and why I took 1 star off of 5.
I'm not sure if it's Yelp's fault or what but I checked and it had 7:00pm clearly written on the print out the driver showed me.
Mistakes happen and if the pizza wasn't as good as it is, I might consider going elsewhere but it's really good so I'll not complain too much.
The pizza comes out to about $14/pizza with 3 toppings each and 3 cans of soda, which is less than I pay for Pappa Murphy's and it comes ready to eat so if it means having to remember to put the time I want it delivered in the Additional Notes section of the Yelp app, so be it.
Oh, I tried their Chicken Parmesan once and I got 3 meals out of it and it was very good as well, so if you're not in the mood for pizza, their pasta and salads are very tasty as well.
I picked them at random from the Yelp app and other than the delivery time mix-ups, it's a...
Read moreTo thank the employees @ Royal Stone and Tile for providing me with excellent customer service I decided I'd surprise their workers with lunch. To make it simple I decided on pizza. I googled "local pizza polar." Although they only had a 4.2 rating I decided since they were the closest i'd give them the benefit of doubt and call anyway. I called to place an order for delivery and I could not believe how rude and disrespectful the order taker was. I suspect he was having a bad day so I tried to lift his spirits but his tone/energy never improved. When I asked if I could speak to someone else he responded by hanging up the phone. I called back he answered the phone again so I asked to speak with the manager. He told me the manager did not have time for me then he hung up again. Since three time's a charm I decided to call back hoping someone else would answer. The person who answered sounded a little different so again I asked to speak with a manager. He said "this is the manager." I began to tell him about how rude the previous person was. Out of nowhere he starts yelling at me. To my surprise it was the same person disguising his voice and pretending to be the manager. I hung up and called another pizza shop (E Che Pizza & Pasta) Is it me or has the culture of providing good "customer service" become a thing of the past? With a 4.2 rating I probably should have...
Read moreI'm Italian from Boston and I am a little sad that I have missed this place over the years. I usually don't try new places because I am so picky when it comes to Pizza, I guess it's an Italian thing. My wife and I were doing business in this mini plaza and I was hungry and decided to give it a shot. Boy am I glad I did! I must say, possibly the best pizza I've ever had in LA and perhaps one of the best in my life. We also ordered the sausage calzone and it by far exceeded my expectations and was also one of the best I've had! When the owner told me how he's always trying other people's pizza, I had a feeling it was going to be good, this means he cares about the pizza he serves which in my experience is extremely difficult to find. I told him how I grew up with my mom's lasagna and he insisted I try his. Well, I just put in a delivery order and I will let you all know what I think, I'm really looking...
