We ordered The Top Sirloin & Grilled Porterhouse. We also got a House Salad and one soda. The bill totalled over $70. For that price I feel that we could have gotten a better steak elsewhere but we wanted to support a local restaurant. It was pretty pricey for the small portions we received. The salad was not great and the soda was flat. The inside of the restaurant is nice and cozy but the bathrooms were very out of date and tore up, not something I expected from a fancy restaurant. The service was on point. Our waiter was very nice and tended to us often. Theres also a bar that was filled with locals and seemed like the main attraction. Overall the steaks were delicious just overly pricey. Not sure if we'll be coming back.

This place has all the earmarks of the best of LA. Cool old school LA vibe, red tucked leather, upholstery, dark, lighting, etc. The service was excellent ( thank you Mariah) and the food was ok. But LORDY the bathrooms!! All the cleaning products are in plain sight, maybe someone should use them once or twice. Or maybe invest a couple bucks and upgrade the sink or counter or floor or lighting and door ….! Hard to believe that today, that is so overlooked. I would love to give you another shot, you’re perfect for LA. The reception desk needs some attention as well. I’m pretty sure Ann’s DNA still lingers.

First time here and it’s a nice little neighborhood restaurant. The interior decoration feels more like an old school tavern. I ordered a coffee to start off and it was descent. Their garlic cheese bread was a good table starter. The calamari appetizer was good but the sauce made it great. I also ordered a steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly but needed more seasoning. Overall it was a solid entree and had some A1 steak sauce to make it better. I’d definitely come back to try their other menu items. Great customer service too.

Review of Colombo's Italiana Steak hause..... I recently had the opportunity to dine at Colombo's Italiana, and the experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cozy and elegant atmosphere of the restaurant. The décor is charming, with a mix of modern and classic Italian elements that create a warm and relaxing ambiance.

Service: The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. From the host to the waiters, everyone made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. Our waiter was well-informed about the menu and offered excellent recommendations.

Food: The food at Colombo's Italiana is truly outstanding. We started with an antipasto of bruschettas that were perfectly toasted and topped with a delicious mixture of fresh tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella. For the main course, I tried the seafood risotto, which was cooked to perfection with a creamy texture and full of flavor. My companion chose the lasagna and was equally delighted with the rich homemade tomato sauce and the perfect balance of meat and cheese.

Desserts: We couldn't leave without trying the tiramisu, which turned out to be one of the best decisions of the night. It was light, fluffy, and had the perfect balance of coffee and mascarpone. We also tried the cannoli, which was crispy on the outside with a sweet and creamy filling inside. Drinks: The wine list is extensive and offers a good selection of Italian wines. We opted for a Chianti that complemented our meal perfectly. Conclusion: Colombo's Italiana is a gem for lovers of Italian cuisine. The combination of a cozy atmosphere, impeccable service, and delicious food makes this restaurant a must-visit. I will definitely return to try more dishes...

Let me start off by saying the only reason this has two stars instead of one star is that I didn't get food poisoning so that's a plu

Both dishes were disappointing and only one was brought to the table correctly.

Order one was linguine with clams in red sauce. It was originally brought out with white sauce that looked like if you had melted a stick of butter into hot water the "sauce" was completely liquid and everything was haphazardly thrown together when we corrected the order it took about 2 min to be returned the dish in red sauce was just as soupy which leads me to believe they poured a ladle of red sauce over top the white linguine instead of making the correct order.

The second order a New York strip steak ordered rare was cooked to medium rare the outside was over seared and the inside was basically inedible of the 10oz steak I was able to maybe get four good bites the rest was un-rendered (still white) fat, silverskin, and tendon that the steak knife had trouble cutting. The baked potato I ordered with it was grainy and flavorless.

Both the pasta and the steak do not include sides or salads.

The staff is friendly kind in the service was quick.

The atmosphere is calm and friendly at least when I was there however the entire establishment looks like it needs a good cleaning. And maybe a replacement of the ceiling tiles.

Their wine list is a joke and it seems as though the staff doesn't particularly understand the difference...

It was a busy afternoon. Apparently they're not used to having a lot of customers (whaaat?) - as a result, my friends and I waited for our food for about 45 minutes. I didn't order a full meal because I already ate and just wanted to join my friends and listen to some jazz. I ordered fries and an Arnold Palmer. Let me repeat: fries and an Arnold Palmer. 45 minutes! The atmosphere is vintage cool, with red leather booths and kitchy old paintings on the walls. This place looks like it hasn't changed since it went into business nearly six decades ago. And neither has the menu. It's quite well preserved, for better or worse. They have live jazz on Sundays. The singer was wonderful, however, she was upstaged by the brass player. That room was not built to accommodate a loud brass instrument. Take him out of the equation and the rest of the band with the singer do a pretty good job at all the jazz classics. Maybe I should have ordered a stiffer drink - I wouldn't have noticed how long it took to...
