Very solid local POC owned cafe in east Hollywood/Los Feliz area. Incredibly friendly and amiable staff. You can tell by how many regulars they have and the banter they have with them. The inside isn’t too big but it’s very well spaced for maximum seating, even if I’ve never seen it too full. The interior feels very camp-like with its refinished picnic style mini tables. They have quality coffee that’s ethically sourced and make some very delicious drinks with it. My favorite though has got to be the Cafe de Olla cold brew. Probably the best I’ve had, and as a cold brew at that. A great pick me up for mid day.
They also make some simple sandwiches that are pretty good and can easily customize something for you if you’re not entirely sure about something on the menu. They also get some local pastries that are really good especially the mini conchas.
Overall a friendly cafe worth stopping by and conversing with the locals, catch up on community news if you want or just...

De La Tierra Café (est 2023) is a cozy local coffee with unique drinks, like their signature Cajeta and Tres Leches lattes, which offers a rich taste. It is a family owned and operated cafe that located on Vermont avenue in Silver Lake. sigh or hood of LA.
They have a rustic vibe and intimate setting with soothing background music. On the menu, they have a plethora selection of coffee, non-espresso and breakfast items. The staff were warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. After perusing their menu, I ordered an Avocado Toast with egg and a Cajeta Latte. The breakfast was simple and yet satisfying as well as the latte. Prices were competitive. Ample of street metered parking. Service was spot on. Staff were cordial and professional and good looking. The best part is they offer loyalty card.
Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed their food/latte. I...
Read moreTurns out, the first cafe I went to no longer existed!
The second cafe had only a QR code for the menu and that wasn't working, and the staff was no help, so I left 😅
Well, it was a blessing in disguise because after all that, I found Cafe de la Tierra! Third times a charm! I never knew this place was here. What a great find.
The staff were so friendly and down to earth, and my God, the breakfast sandwich was so delicious. (I got it with pesto and no meat).
It's not common to find Cafe de Olla so I was so excited to get that and it was delicious!!! I can't wait to try the other drinks. They have some unqiue specialty drinks.
It's quite small but has a very friendly vibe and nice light. All around just unpretentious and delicious. And they were playing 90s music when I came in so that...
