WaBa Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I almost buy my daughter’s lunch every day to this place. I always buy kids steak bowl, white rice, no veggie, for TO GO. The serving are great the employee’e are nice it was a good service .but when I get in to the car open the package of the food the serving size of meat is like for a free taste size.. it is ridiculous and I complain the following day I order agait n the same thing day add some but barely some extra. So I was still disappointed. The next following day when I order again exactly the same order. I ask for extra meal. And it cost me additional almost 3 dollars and it fine as long as my daughter will satisfy for her lunch. Then the following day again I decided to buy the regular steak bowl not a kids bowl anymore so probably the serving size of there meat would be enough. Because I’m just paying more for kids meal plus extra meat. And I was surprise again that the amount of the serving of the their meat is like a size of the kids meal. What the?????? It is so annoying. That you are expecting enough meal but it’s a mess. I think I deserve and other customer deserve the right amount of the serving food for what they pay. They think they can trick their customers because it was TO GO and no one will notice.. hope Waba Grill at Vermont and sta Monica fix...

The protein portions at this waba are miserable. They always have done this, i stopped coming to this particular location bacause of that same reason. This location is close to my house and so is convenient. I stopped in today to grab a quick bite and continue with busy day only to be extremely disappointed again with protein portion size. The lady was kind and offered and extra portion. I don not want anything for free, i want simply what i pay for. All the other wabas are very consistent with protein portion, i go to alot of them everywhere. I repeat, all the other waba grill locations are consistent and give the right protein portion size. This is the only one that gives miserable protein portions, i repeat this is the only one that gives miserable protein portions!!! Refer to picture below. This is the protein portion for a plate, a plate wich is suppose to have more protein as advertised!! so imaging the protein portion the bowls come with!! The plate is suppose to have more protein but instead they put the same size protein portion for the bowl just on the plate and i guess they just charge for the plate!! Horrible!! I do not want anything for free i want to get what I pay for as i do at other...

This is the only Waba location that I go to, and that’s because it is the best of the best. I’ve eaten at several other Waba locations but none of them have matched this one. There are several reasons, in my opinion, that make this location the best. The first one is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The floors are clean, the counters are clean, the tables are clean, the soda machine is clean, and the bathroom is clean. This is what initially sold me on this location and the cleanliness is always maintained. The second is the food. It is always nice and warm and fresh. Presentation is everything, and the food is always served beautifully in the container. The other locations I have been to, the food was literally thrown in the container and just looked awful. This is not the case here, as the employees really care about the work that they do. The last reason that this is my favorite location is the employees. They are just outstanding! They are so professional and courteous. These are the types of employees you would encounter in a fine dining establishment. They take superb customer service skills to the next level! No it is not a cheap place to eat, but healthy eating...
