Is sad when you go for years to a place that you thought they are going to make some changes sometime. I really would like to keep my culture even with the food because I really think that is something we should keep until the las day of life but with the Guatemalteca Bakery on Santa Monica Blvd here in Los Angeles is been hard since they give people what they want not what people expect to pay for. Today I was really wishing to have and enjoy a good rice and milk (atol) but guess what, I pay a lot for only a hot cup full of milk but not rice at all, I don’t know if I would like to even come back because honestly and I’m sorry if I sound rude, not polite or wherever but I’m not going there to ask for free food for them to serve what they like or want to serve just because they are receiving orders from the people who give them a job, I don’t blame everyone but most of them are not people who appreciate business with others, I feel sorry for those Guatemalan’s just like me that work hard in this country to make it better but others just take advantage. Don’t be miserable serving food when I hear from the owner saying that sometimes they have to get rid of the food because they make a lot but business are not good when theiy have four restaurants in Southern California. Shame on you Guatemala bakery...

Creo que deberían de reconsiderar a la manera que atienden a su clientela. The food it's ok but the way that you guys have to charge for a bag it its ridiculous. You guys shouldn't be charging for something that should be included with the purchase already. Now you they're just trying to take advantage of ppl now. Please reconsider the way you guys do business. On top of that some of the people that are supposedly help have such a bad attitude. On the other hand food...

They also have fresher things like cheese and Guatemalan sour cream. Next to the fridges you see other some isles with Guatemalan snacks like soda pop and chips.
The bakery seems to pull out fresh bread at different times of the day. My favorite being a pineapple sweet bread. (I'm not sure what the name is for it)
Finally, they have their restaurant food. So good! It's all very authentic Guatemalan food. I'm not Guatemalan but this place has me going in whenever I'm...
