Hope Center — Attraction in Los Angeles

I have seen and heard many people here at the Hope center, they are grateful, kind and caring.. oh those are the guests ! The volunteers are too, a wonderful crew

It's just as wonderful in the kitchen, the chef is a man who makes great meal out of whatever he's handed. A great skill, making a hot meal out of nutrients he didn't even know about 24 hours before.

The person who has gotten attention by giving a bad review is inaccurate. She doesn't know how it really works.

Business's share their spoils , but not 'spoiled' food in most cases.

It's prepared, sliced, diced and sang over and maybe a dance too, so the guests get a good hot meal Monday - Friday 2x a day. It's prepared with love and joy!

The guests come in with their belongings and or just their empty stomach, to sit, eat, rest, listen to music 🎵 🎶 and live another day.

Come enjoy, serve and have a meal with the other volunteers after serving the community.

I have been attending off and on for some time now. Wonderful church, lots of good hearted people, and the food program was one of the things that drew me. Someone left a review on here about volunteers walking out with prime rib and lobster…that’s weirdly inaccurate. I’ve never seen prime rib or lobster in the kitchens or store rooms in any of my visits, and I had full access to all of the storage.

Also, many of the volunteers working in food distribution up till now were on hard times themselves before joining the program, so if the admins (oversight is solid) send volunteers home with groceries, it’s going to the...

passing thru..I was urged to stay if 'I WANTED FOOD'!! DID NOT KNOW OF FOOD!! Didn't stay. Lots of free bread outside in table. That was nice for those in need. Addendum. After reading the most glowin reviews and then LIKE A SORE THUMB..a few Not minding to their business or the churches for the good ..have the audacity to suspect the volunteers!!!! of hoarding food.. THEIR NOSEY OPINION. I DO NOT ATTEND THIS CHURCH BUT WHAT I OBSERVED WAS GOOD HEARTEDNESS AND IF THEY DO REWARDS THEMSELVES MORE ..SO WHAT!!! WHAT DO YOU KNOW OF THEIR LIVES???? NOTHING. IM SURE.
