We have been ordering food here for a few years and the food itself is good. The problem is the customer service. two times ago we ordered take out from here when they delivered the food there was a mistake. We called them and finally they agreed to give us a credit the next time we ordered. The last time that I ordered when I brought up the credit they said they knew nothing about it and wouldn't take off the money for the order. I was not happy. Tonight while I was at work my daughter on speakerphone, ordered a lot of food to be delivered and she ordered a vegan moo shoo dish and when my daughter ordered it she told the man who took the order that there can't be eggs in the dish. Of course when the food arrived the moo shoo had eggs in it. My wife called up and spoke to a women that said that she would send someone with another order without the egg. My wife thanked her and we continued to eat. After a few minutes the man who my daughter originally gave the order to called us and told us that they won't bring us another dish and he said that my daughter never told her to leave the eggs out of the dish when there were five people in the room when she placed the order and everyone heard her say it. He said if we wanted we could come right over because they are closing soon and pick up a new dish but he repeated that we never told him about the eggs and basically said that my wife was lying. And we weren't about to make a 20 minute each way trip to get the dish from a mistake that they had made when we were in the middle of eating. Unfortunately even though the food is good ,we won't b er ordering food from here ever again.I own my own business and would NEVER treat one of my customers like that. He just lost 5 customers that were here eating with us but also all of the people that we will tell never...

Dragon King is a family run restaurant in the Cantonese style. The restaurant is poorly lit inside; there are a couple TVs on the wall and a couple paintings. The menu is pretty large, filled with typical fare: soups, beef, chicken and pork items as well as some seafood.

I'd avoid any of the seafood or pork items: neither is fresh as they aren't a Chinese deli (hence the pork isn't fresh) or able to get fresh fish from any source close by. Their dumplings are frozen by their admission. The orange chicken is passable, but heavily fried and the chicken isn't fresh either. The steamed rice is okay. The best item I had was the string beans with chopped onion and jalapeno. I ordered it with little oil and little salt as the Chinese tend to over use both in restaurant cooking.

My poor rating is not so much for the food (I'd give the food 3 stars), but for their lack of honesty/ poor ethics: when we received the bill they charged us for the dinner prices rather than the lunch special prices, though we were eating over an hour before the end of their lunch schedule. Why? Because we didn't ask for the lunch special, though I was pointing to the page when I placed the order. That cost an extra $9 and change.

So, we won't...

Food is great, and a good value. To Go Only.

Only problem is No Parking... ever.

I wish the owner of the property would change the layout of the parking spaces to be at a diagonal. That way, people can enter off Vanowen heading West Bound, and park nose in. Then when they leave, backing out is diagonal to the storefronts, and they exit the lot facing West.

As it is right now, there's a huge sign pole that EVERYONE hits when they pull in trying to park perpendicular to the storefronts, AND hit the sign pole when they back out. Bad game of Tetris.

Anyways, for price and value, this is one of the better Chinese To Go spots in Canoga Park, Woodland Hills.

Favorites of mine are Orange Chicken and Moo Shoo.

The Fried Fish (get the sauce on the side) is out of this world! It's crispy, crunchy, and very tasty. If you get it already mixed with the sauce, by the time you get home it's just one big soggy mess. So please come and do yourself a favor, get the sauce on the side.

They do have all of your old, classic dishes as well like beef and broccoli, Mongolian beef, war wonton, and classic wonton soup.

Prices are great, very affordable. You do get a good amount of...

I ordered the orange chicken lunch special (L7 I believe). It was orange chicken, fried rice or white rice, a soup option, an egg roll, and two wonton chips. I also ordered crab meat rangoon…total paid $20.10. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The crab meat rangoon was good but a little skimpy on the feeling and the sweet n sour sauce was pretty tasty. I didn’t try the soup but my husband said the flower soup was better than the hot sour soup. The fried rice was very bland. I’m used to fried rice with carrots, peas, and onions. I asked if I could add shrimp but was told that I would have to purchase shrimp fried rice separately. It didn’t bother me but just informing whoever wants to know. I don’t really like Chinese food anymore but overall, the food was good.

Yesterday I was around and decided to have Chinese food for lunch, Samy who was there is very nice and she explained a couple dishes and ended up choosing the Yu Hsiong shrimp which was very tasty and the portion is not bad, and the food was ready in no time, the place is nice but sadly they don't have dine in anymore , It would be really nice to eat there and listen to the music , the place to me looks kinda romantic, I will definitely need to go again and try a different dish, they had a wide variety, and hope they could reopen to dine in

Best sit down place I've been to, why drive around or even think of going to Chinatown this place is superb. Everything was made fresh so expect to wait for your food but it's worth it. Never had such crispy and delicious Orange chicken I recommend 👍great service top notch next time ill be there for the lunch specials 11 to 4 if you're interested.
