Dumpling House — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I ordered over the phone. They were pretty fast about making my order.

I got there to pick up. Parking is non existent! Do not try to park in the lot. Just park on the residential side street.

the security was nice enough to let me double park. But good thing it took all of 2 min to pick up my food because that wouldnt have worked out long term.

Now for the service they were fast very blunt and to the point. Idk why all these people are saying are rude. They are asian and speak basic english (The guy at the front who took my order over the phone) He was NOT rude its just their culture they talk fast and they are very direct.

The reason for my 3 stars is mostly for the food alone.

The fried rice was very slapped together. and clumpy. The Kimchi taste like all Kimchi it was good. And the chicken dumplings were more on the dry side wish i had more sauce.

i Would highly recommend trying some of their other dumpling options before making a final judgment. If thats what theyre known for. the rest of the food is very basic. in comparison to other restaurants.

So I decided to stop here buy a spicy soup like a normal customer paid and tipped. I am a driver worker meaning I only have a certain amount of time. I understand the wait can be long I’m risking my lunch time just on waiting but I USUALLY ORDER MY FOOD TO GO Because of the same reason. If my time is up I take my food with me. Luckily this day they were somewhat fast I had 10 minutes to enjoy my food. The place had no customers at this time. The old lady “cook” from this restaurant approaches me and said I order to go so I have to go now. At this point they had a few customers. I told her “hey I’m leaving I’m still working just trying to not be sitting in my work vehicle” humiliating me in-front of customers she said NO I have to leave. Rude rude rude, we order the king dumplings and we rudely get told okay, pay, sign (as he tosses the pen) and wait outside. We do. We waited 20 minutes, my fiancé goes in, notices that there is only 1 fork 1 napkin. So she asked if we can get 1 more fork and some napkins as we where eating outside of their establishment due to covid. All he said is no, showing that there was some in the bag already. So rude.
