I’ve ordered from your bakery before and the experiences were okay, but unfortunately, this will be my last experience. I recently ordered a Hello Kitty cake for my daughter’s 7th birthday and was informed that the price for a cake matching the provided picture would be $180. I agreed and paid the deposit.

However, when I picked up the cake yesterday, I was extremely disappointed. It was nothing like what I requested. Instead of a custom design, I received a plain pink cake with a bow and a dirty cardboard with a plastic toy on top. The lettering for my daughter’s name was done hastily and poorly.

When I raised my concerns, the attending lady said she didn’t make the cakes and was unable to help. I requested to speak with the baker, but was told she wasn’t available and wouldn’t return to address the issue. Then I asked her to call her over the phone to see how it can be fixed but she was informed over the phone that nothing could be done and was offered a refund if I left the cake behind.

The lack of acknowledgment and customer service throughout this process was truly disappointing. Customers place special orders for a reason, and it’s unacceptable to said that a refund can process if unsatisfied on a customized order placed weeks in advance. Last Saturday, October 5, 2024, at around 2 p.m. I went for the first time to place an order for a cake for a birthday. Next Saturday, October 12, 2024, I placed the order and she told me that the cake I wanted to order was for the price of 120 dollars. I had no problem with the price. Once I placed the order, the cashier told me how much I was going to leave as a deposit. I told her I was going to leave it right away. I paid it. It was not a problem. I left my order. I paid in full. Unfortunately, the person who had a birthday last October 7th went to the emergency room where she had to undergo chemical surgery for a cancerous tumor that was discovered. Due to this situation, her birthday party was canceled, so I personally went to explain to the owner of the business what happened. I showed her photos of the surgery and the situation of what had happened. What please we need a refund for the order for what happened and the lady with a very bad attitude said that she was very sorry that she could not cancel the order and return the money that what she could do was give credit for when the party could be held, so it seemed very unfair to me and a lack of respect for the family regardless of the situation that we were going through at that time, so I do not recommend this bakery to anyone because of the poor service, the little love that she feels for her neighbors and because of the poor customer service. European Baking Co Inc 4800 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90029 Hola quiero contar mi mala experiencia con la Dueña de esta pastelería, el pasado sábado Sábado 5 de Octubre del 2024 sobre las 2 de la tarde pase por primera vez hacer una orden de un pastel para un cumpleaños el próximo sábado 12 de Octubre del 2024 ya echa la orden me dice que el pastel que yo quería ordenar era por el precio de 120 dolares no se me hizo problema el precio ya una vez echa la orden la cajera me dice cuanto vas a dejar de deposito le dije de una vez lo voy a dejar pago no es problema deje mi orden paga completamente por desgracia de la vida la persona que cumplía años el pasado 7 de octubre llega a emergencia donde tiene que ser intervenida quirúrgica por un tumor cancerígeno qué le fue descubierto por esta situación se cancela lo de su cumpleaños por lo que yo personalmente voy le explico a la dueña del negocio lo sucedido le muestro fotos de la cirugía y la situación de lo que había pasado qué por favor necesitamos el reembolso de la Orden por lo sucedido y la señora con muy mala actitud dijo que lo sentía mucho que ella no me podía cancelar la orden y regresarnos el dinero que lo que podía era dar crédito para cuando se pudiera hacer la fiesta por lo que se me hizo muy injusto y una falta de respeto a la familia  sin importar la situación por lo que estábamos pasando en ese momento por lo que no le recomiendo a nadie esta pastelería por el mal servicio el poco amor que siente por el prójimo y por la mala atención al cliente.

This is the second time I come here to order a custom cake. The first time was perfect that's why I gave it another go. This time was a fail on design. I ordered in person and because I didnt have the picture I needed I was told I could text it after. That's what I did. I provided a clear picture. Then followed up with an entire picture of how the cake should look like. They reused the picture 3 times to cover up the sides versus only one shown clearly on my pic/text. The owner was there when I picked it up and as I was trying to clear up and explain my actual request she continued to interrupt me and tell me what I should have done instead of fixing it. We spent 20 minutes going back and forth instead of fixing it. After understanding my request she said my request would have cost more. Ok??? Do why didn't you charge me more and get it right!!! Instead of being on time with my cake I wasted time explaining over and over. I'm the customer and I know what the end product should look like. It only needed a boarder and an edible pic. They made it so complicated!! I will not be coming back here after the poor customer service...
