Fred's Downhome Burgers — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Went there today at 6:00pm 3/3/19 and the female cashier behaved so unprofessional as always! As I ordered my food she would interrupt me with the ugliest miserable attitude and bark at me, she acts like she’s on drugs totally un-called for another customer spoke up and asked her what her problem was because she acts angry, this girl needs to find the lord and find herself a job she likes because of her me and the other customer says we’re not spending money where we are treated poorly, the guy in the kitchen was laughing and cracking jokes and the whole place is run by punks with no respect not to mention the wait time is ridiculous it took 45 minutes and they weren’t even busy, I’ve called my order in ahead and it’s the same thing you still have to wait over 30 mins for a call in order once you get there! This place doesn’t deserve anyone’s business and it needs to be shut down I’ll be reporting you to the health department too because there was trash in my lemonade and in my burger. I will also be reporting you the BBB. I seen all the yelps and they are bad and it’s obvious that whoever owns the place don’t care, the owners listed are Clenon Grimmet, Brenda Grimmet, Betty Grimmet, Brenda, Clarence and crystal carter when you look up who owns Fred’s burger, so Fred don’t exist and neither does respect or gratefulness for their customers keeping them in business and with jobs and money, praying God deals with you all...

Fred’s is a true LA Burger stand like from back in the day. We been going for YEARS!!! A special treat is the grandma burger you can get it in beef or turkey its got bell peppers and seasonings and onions all mixed into the meat. It’s absolutely delicious. Their fries are amazing. I suggest you get them extra crispy AND they’re hand cut. They still have a skin on them and are super old fashioned. Handmade shakes and delicious lemonade as well. The service is amazing & the staff remembers your name. I love the quality of the food. The buns are perfect. I love that Freds it’s a part of LA culture. A lot of things are changing in that neighborhood. I hope Fred’s never changes I’ve taken everyone I know at some point to get a burger combo at Fred’s. They have other stuff too but I’m focused on the burgers although I know everything else is high quality delicious as well. I have a lot of memories from taking my kids there sitting outside and eating our burgers at the tables watching the cars go bye. I have made huge business deals at those tables, and I have say there pondering life alone or with friends. Pickin up Freds on the way home for years! Freds is the real deal. I'm a cook that's very critical of food..and I have food allergies...So I don't like eating out...My son insisted we try this place..his treat....🤔 1st good thing they did was call us to make sure they compiled with the allergy request ✅️ 2nd good thing they did was give a no hassle refund for the fries they forgot to give us...without us having to prove we didn't get them😲...which is a 1st✅️ The best thing of all was the food....My turkey burger was amazing..I could tell the patty was hand made and it was well seasoned.. cooked to perfection..it almost tasted as good as mine..almost...😉✅️ My beef burger guys also loved their food as well...✅️ We were all so pleased I had to call them back to let them know just how much I appreciated the excellent food and the great customer service...✅️.
