I used to stop in to Go Get Em Tiger multiple times per week, as I had started a new job around the corner from this location. I was excited to become a regular at a shop so close to my new workplace and start my mornings off on a positive note.
The first time I came here I ordered a simple black coffee and tipped well, so I was confused when the staff were rude and pushy with me. However, as someone who works in customer service, I brushed it off and figured it could have been a busy shift, an off day, or even maybe that I imagined it. And trust me when I say, I rarely leave negative reviews because truly, I get it.
HOWEVER, almost every time I have returned, I am met with hostile, nasty, and downright rude treatment by the baristas, one girl specifically. It totally ruins that part of my day. Picking up a coffee is a part of my morning routine that I look forward to, so really want to keep going to this shop, and I feel like I've tried everything to get on their good sides. But unfortunately I've had to change my go-to shop to Cafe Dulce, which I recommend to anyone reading this. (Cafe Dulce treats their customers well and as a bonus, the drink menu there is more diverse!!)
All of this I was willing to let go and write off as a missed connection, oh well. Some people just don't get along, it happens. But, the final factor that disgusted me enough to finally leave this review: A vendor that my company hires stopped in to GGET earlier and reported back to me that the girl working on bar this morning gave her a ton of attitude and was disrespectful throughout their entire interaction. I hate to say that I can guess who this particular barista was. I'm horrified that one of my vendors was treated like this and honestly, I'm upset that the staff here continues to be so inconsiderate and insensitive with every customer that walks through their doors.
Go Get Em, once a rightfully glorified shop, once known for their warm hospitality, once praised for amazing beverages and provisions, has fallen from grace to become a total vibe killer at the ROW DTLA and an overall...
ย ย ย Read moreIโm giving credit to this place for adding wifi. For a while, there was no wifi because the rowโs free wifi signal did not reach that far. The reason why Iโm not giving this place 5 stars is because they have a habit of not having mobile order drinks ready on time. I usually go to the row once every 3 weeks to get my nails done, or get a facial. If you place a mobile order when there is a line of people, they are going to clear the line first before making your drink. Iโve noticed this when there are at least two people making coffee. Youโd think one person would continue working the line while the other person makes the mobile order. And thatโs if they even see the order. The system that notifies them of mobile orders is not right next to the register. There have been times where Iโve arrived and they hadnโt seen my order. A reviewer also mentioned a female barista. I think I know who this person is talking about. The last time my mobile order wasnโt ready 5 minutes past the pick-up time, I brought it to the attention of one of the guys making the drinks. He told her that there was a mobile order that hadnโt been made. She looked at me and told him to get to the people...
ย ย ย Read moreI was hesitant to go to this place because of the poor reviews, and had a bad experience due to poor customer service, mainly one of the ladies at the counter (short hair). She made something as simple as ordering food/drinks an unpleasant experience. She had an attitude, confused us by asking us to order drinks only, then got frustrated when when asked if and where we could order food. She got easily frustrated at anything we asked. Before we left, someone in our party could not find her pastry, we asked if she gave it to us, she got very upset at that and made backhanded comments, when there is just no need. Her nasty attitude can easily ruin peopleโs day. Anyway, food was okay, coffee average. Try other coffee...
