Gogobop Korean Rice Bar — Restaurant in Los Angeles

We came upon this place accidentally when the dim sum place nearby that we intended to eat at prior to going to the Hammer Museum ended up being closed on Tuesdays. What a lucky find! It's more of a fast food place...but the quality of food is as good as other dine in Korean restaurant I have gone to. Everything is so fresh and you can customize your bowl to whatever you want in it. All the goodies are displayed right in front of you as the server puts together your bowl as you select your items. All the individual veggie salads I added to my base of purple rice, sweet potato (glass) noodles, lettuce and grilled cabbage topped with tofu and the Gouchung chicken were delicious as was the Gouchung and Gouchug Mayo sauces I opted for. I highly recommend the purple rice and sweet potato noodle as part of your base selection. I was initially disappointed the dim sum place was closed...but got over it once I had my first bite from my bowl. I am not a fast food type of person...never thought of it as healthy...but this place...

My go-to for a healthy, customizable, and affordable lunch! Gogobop is a gem in Westwood, especially for students. This has become my regular lunch spot for a few key reasons. First, the price is really fair for the amount of food you get, which is a huge plus on a student budget. It's a great value. What I love most is the "build your own bowl" concept. I can get exactly what I want and add as many toppings as I'm craving without feeling like I'm breaking the bank. It's a fantastic way to have a different meal every time you go. The ingredients are always fresh, and it feels like a genuinely healthy option compared to a lot of the other quick-serve places around campus. The staff is also super efficient, so even when it's busy, the line moves pretty fast. Delicious and nutritious! Gogobop lets us build our meal with healthy and tasty options. Meat eaters, vegetarians, or vegans, everyone can find something great to enjoy. The boldness of Korean food, the freshness and diversity of ingredients, the array of veggies, the sides, the choice of sauces, ... The portions are well thought out to satisfy, and the meal is very well balanced. I loved the concept, the food, the ambiance, the location (parking is so easy!), the friendly staff, and the feeling after eating there.
