I picked up two good size slides of two diffent delicious bread. Both fresh and healthy, with a moist texture that lets you palatal taste the fruit almonds and smooth chocolate. One covered with pumpkin seeds. The third item was a muffin baked leaving the crest slightly toasted but also moist with a firm texture. I would recommend all three with black espresso coffee, no milk. It will complement all three without overwhelming your palatal tasting the rich flavor of the fruit and chocolate in the bread and the muffin. An excellent working space or a place where you can enjoy the moment. It has a nice covered patio area in addition to the spacious inside area that is not overcrowded with chairs and tables. Both areas give you working space and privacy. At the present time, it has no sign announcing its name outside, just a white facade. Which, gives a cool and fresh atmosphere in a hot day. If you aren't looking for it, you could easily miss it. It seems to be a popular place. I didn't have to wait long to pick up my goodies. Parking is another story, but it's Venice and Parking in this area is a commodity. Whatever distance you have to walk or ride your bike...

Cash isn't just legal tender; it's the battle cry for a fairer, more prosperous, and self-determined local economy.

There is a seating area with additional tables and chairs behind the baristas that is far from intuitive - unless you happen to need to use the restroom and make the inadvertant discovery. It is completely worth it to take the time to sign up for their reward system - as the points rack up quickly. The baristas range from friendly to snotty and the dudes making the coffee rarely smiled or talk to me or acknowledged a thank you - so never really built up much of a rapport with anyone despite multiple visits over the course of a year. I soon learned that is pretty much par for the course in the area of the world. Worth it for the Mexican Mochas and awesome...
