I honestly do not recommend this place. I can appreciate a no-frills, simple dispensary, but it honestly just feels like a space that was opened to make some quick money.

Neither of the people working with customers actually knew what the THC percentages of the flower were, nor knew anything regarding the terpene profile of what they carry. I am someone that smokes specific types of cannabis at very low percentages, because of how sensitive I am to it, and am only slightly educated in what to select and what to stay away from with terpene combinations. I definitely shouldn't know more than someone working at a dispensary. They were unable to help me at all in making an informed decision regarding which selection would be best for me and my needs. They didn't seem to care and did not (could not?) offer any sort of support in sifting through options. I felt awkward and weird in there, as if I should have just been taking whatever they had solely based on whether I wanted an indica, sativa, or hybrid...

I am super disappointed and should have just left without buying anything, but I was here and have a long drive ahead, so I shrugged it off. If you're someone who actually utilizes cannabis for the medicinal properties and you have specific wants/needs, I absolutely do NOT recommend this place.

I gave them 2 stars because at least they weren't rude šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø

*Edit to add: they don't actually take "debit" - they run your debit card in a machine that acts as an ATM withdrawal, so it charges you $3 to pay, and they give you change based on an ATM withdrawal in $20 increments. My total was $36.41 with tax ($10 in tax on a $27 purchase), I asked if I could pay with card. He said, ran my card and went to put in my PIN and noticed the screen asked if I was making a checking or savings withdrawal. I thought that was odd but just wanted to get out of there so I didn't ask any questions. Finished the sale, and he says, "Okay, I owe you $3.59," and I realized that it was run as a $40 ATM withdrawal - which my receipt shows was a $40 cash payment. May not be a big deal to most, but man this place honestly is the worst dispensary I've...

I have been a customer a customer on and off of this place for almost a decade. I have lived in Venice my entire life beyond the existence of this dispensary. I had a horrible altercation with a new employee who accused me of staring at another customer fouly and asked me if I was good? In an escalating tone. He then proceeds to ask me to fight outside after I asked him the difference between two shop brand strains which his answer came across like he didn't know what he was talking about since he couldn't answer if the 2 pouches he brought out were sativa indica or hybrid. His ego was touched by me thinking out loud remarking "you don't know" where he lost his cool twice once for the initial remark and again after someone else was now assisting me bc he blew up the second time he thought he overheard me talking about him What a huge disappointment this is the opposite of solid customer service to escalate a situation and try to fight a customer? This place has really taken a dip and this was the cherry on top.

They really should consider not hiring tweakers if they plan to keep this shop going.. I won't be buying here...

Walking in there was no one to great us. We stood and waited for about 10-15 mins waiting to be acknowledged. When we finally got acknowledged we were simply just told to wait there…no biggie it gave us time to scan the room seeing what’s available. We got welcomed in and was helped by Kenia we got some flower and she says oh well since it’s your first time in our store and your visiting out of state let me give you some prerolls she grabbed one of her choosing and we asked about tax she said of state tax. Now I’m my receipt we got charged for the pre rolls that she ā€œgiftedā€ and we got taxed twice! Had I know I’d be paying for the prerolls I would’ve bought more and liked to have picked them out. She seemed to be just doing her job not offering actual customer service. She couldn’t answer the backs questions failed to inform us she wasn’t gifting but adding something on our bill. Overall not the best experience by far. I wish there was a better service and selection in the products they had to offer. I wish I could’ve had a better experience because the product we picked up was great but the experience made it not worth...

"They say"...when in Rome...so, while in California I thought I'd do as apparently Californian's do and visit The Rose Collective. I was very curious and it was My first time ever in a Dispensary. It was a very laid back atmosphere with really mellow music, old wooden floors and a sweet knowledgeable salesperson. She pointed out some things not on the Menu (Yes, they have an actual menu like in a restaurant!!!) and she told me all about the products on Sale that Day. Not knowing one thing from another, I settled on a bag of Cookies. Satisfied with my purchase I left and headed out for the rest of my day. I noticed the mural on the way out at thought it was very cool and fit the old building's outside complimenting the atmosphere inside. It was just a really nice place to go.

I had the opportunity to visit this dispensary in Venice, CA, on Christmas Day (12/25) during my time in the area. Typically, I frequent "Sweet Flower" in Westwood, so I was intrigued to explore a new place I discovered on Google. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the friendly staff, and Luis, in particular, stood out with his exceptional service. He guided me through their impressive selection, making the experience both enjoyable and informative. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the joint I bought--it left a lingering aftertaste that wasn't for me. This might just come down to personal preference, though, and isn't necessarily a reflection of their overall quality. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth stopping by for the great service and reasonable prices!
