I used to come here every Sunday for lunch and a coffee, as a nice quite, calm place to work. Last week, a loud, angry may who had monopolized the area turned up (not the first time) and conducted a 3-hour teleconference, as if the space was his personal office. I asked the staff to just ask the owner what their rules were on this matter, and to please post a sign, in order to spare them the hassle of dealing with an aggressive individual, yet to still lay solid ground rules that we could count on. The verdict? To avoid the issue altogether and close the space, thus punishing both parties, and a healthy dose of side-eye when I inquired about it. So many cafes refuse to take a stand on proper conduct. I'm disappointed that the owner couldn't show more integrity here. I encourage you to save your money for cafes where they don't let rude people...
