Hank's Cafe — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I used to come here every Sunday for lunch and a coffee, as a nice quite, calm place to work. Last week, a loud, angry may who had monopolized the area turned up (not the first time) and conducted a 3-hour teleconference, as if the space was his personal office. I asked the staff to just ask the owner what their rules were on this matter, and to please post a sign, in order to spare them the hassle of dealing with an aggressive individual, yet to still lay solid ground rules that we could count on. The verdict? To avoid the issue altogether and close the space, thus punishing both parties, and a healthy dose of side-eye when I inquired about it. So many cafes refuse to take a stand on proper conduct. I'm disappointed that the owner couldn't show more integrity here. I encourage you to save your money for cafes where they don't let rude people...

The burrito was good, but me and my friend waited like 40 minutes for a coffee and our food because there was only on guy working and it seemed like his entire family was visiting. I got a fruit bowl that was super moldy and was given another one that was moldy. They threw out the fruit and at that point I just wanted a refund for the moldy fruit. The guy said his manager wasn't in but took my number. I've waited and called and haven't gotten a refund...they're probably okay usually but I would be careful about getting ripped off over a 20$ breakfast that was...
