You cannot make pizza this good unless you truly care. This is among the absolute best, quality pizza I’ve ever had. And I’m not speaking from the fact these owners didn’t have baking experience before getting into the pizza game. This pizza is among the absolute best from any establishment regardless of level of culinary experience. They also know the basics of customer service- say hello to everyone who walks in your establishment and be ready to guide the customer to making a selection if they are unsure. I glanced at the menu and didn’t feel like reading through stuff and just asked Zoey “I just want two slices of your meat lovers equivalent” and she happily guided me to the right selection. You can taste the freshness and lack of additives. The pizza is cooked perfectly with amazingly thin and flaky crust, delicious sauce that isn’t just a pile of sugar mixed with a vague tasting tomato sauce, and cheese that cannot be cheap to procure. And of course the various meats were magnificent. I could have picked them off and made a bougie charcuterie board, no lie. Great work Zoey and Osher- absolutely knocked this...
Read moreBest pizza I’ve ever had in my life, and I used to live in Italy… The people that own this place are so incredibly charming. They pay attention to everyone that comes in the door. They truly care about the product that they have and only want to serve the best of, what ingredients they can find I mean I know I sound like I’m blowing smoke but this place is incredible. There’s a reason why they often sell out. Every time I leave that shop with one of their boxes I literally get stopped on the street to say oh my God that place is so good. I mean it’s that good… My mouth is watering talking about it. This is so effed up. This is what restaurants used to be like, and this is what restaurants should be like owned by real actual people with real ingredients and effort to only produce the very best. The wifey is charming and the husband is easy on the eyes in the background. They compliment each other perfectly
The Greek salad dressing I swear, has crack and that because it is so effing good and the burrata slice is incredible. It’s just absolutely incredible like I don’t even understand how it...
Read morePizza is definitely overpriced in the Melrose area district of W. Los Angeles bordering West Hollywood vicinity. $30 for a mini pizza (a step above or a few centimeters from Heirloom pizza being a person pan pizza)... Nothing special and I gather that the high rent district in a ghost town of a business district that is still trying to cater to what use to be a popular and jumping Melrose strip... Some people don't get how to the cut the market to double or triple the % of customers. Totally get how prices have increased but tons of other establishments with waaay better pizza and getting your money's worth... it's either a $22-$25 pizza not including tax and/or tip for a mini sized in diameter pizza) or spending $50 plus.... to have a regular sized pizza that is subpar. That area is slowly dying and they still think that the prices are responsible. Too bad Ghost pizza is no longer, because I tried Heirloom pizza and wasn't impressed... The cashier was extra friendly and understood customer service, but pizza is not worth the money because it's nothing special...
