IHOP — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Super annoyed, the food was ok not the best but fine. The main issue was our server! 1 kids pancake, 1 coffee and an omelette my bill was 50+ dollars😵 Why? Bcs my son ordered a build your own omelette and asked our waitress if they had potatoes for the add-ons for his omelette and she said "yes you can order potatoes for it" and when I looked at our bill she charged us $6.99 for a side of potatoes which 1st of all he had maybe 6 tiny potatoes pieces in his omelette not a side order and 2nd why didn't she inform us it was an extra charge? She also told my little one that his kids breakfast came with a drink so he made his choice which he otherwise would have ordered a water for free, and on our bill was a charge for his drink. When I talked to her about the issues she told me potatoes don't come as an add-on for omelettes and its charged as a side order. I was not happy as she didnt tell us this as well as we didn't even get a side order amount of potatoes in that case.. I asked her why she charged for the kids drink when she specifically said it came with his pancakes and she proclaimed she never said that and it doesn't come with a drink. She could careless we were upset and was cold and short about it when I talked to her. Her attitude was rude and unaccomodating. I will not return this this IHOP and am dissatisfied! Not worth a 52 dollar breakfast for 2 meals and a coffee for sure. My sons actually really likes IHOP too, now they lost...

This is among one of my favorite Ihop Restaurants especially during the week. I call in my order and Hector so promptly takes my order and makes sure I have everything I need when I pick it up. I started calling and of course he'd remember my voice and my order since I'm a creature of habit. I just love when people actually "like" what they do. I found Hector to be personable, friendly, efficient with my order and his alerting me to specials just adds more to his wonderful customer service. I'm so happy to see his happy face even when I'm not happy going to work, I can count on his smile and efficiency. I know at least I'm going to eat exactly what I want, the way I want it. My absolute favorite Ihop restaurant is the Tarzana location on Ventura Blvd with Manager Syed. He is the best manager ever! But for now, Hector gets the light and kudos at this small Ihop on Ohio St and Bundy Ave in Santa Monica. The bathrooms are clean, its quiet and if Hector is there, your order will be hot, fresh and accurate! Stop by if you're ever in the area and sit in...

I had a donation coupon which I used to order a meal one morning. When I arrived at the location the cashier told me that they do not honor this donation coupon because it's only to dine in. So I said no problem I'll sit there then I'll ask for it to go (yes I was getting smart but following the rules, I mean how can u have so many rules for a coupon I receive as a token of my donation to a good cause). Then she calls the manager and he says that the coupon is only to dine it. I said I understood and that I would dine in, just that once I sit and receive my food I can leave. He said the coupon was to dine in only and that he was going to let me take out only this time. I told him that if he was hearing me, but he continued to brag and make me feel bad before he game me the food. I was going to comply with the coupons policy yet this manager still wanted to come out as self righteous...
