We called to order on Valentine’s Day and we’re told they were only accepting orders online. We ordered online and received multiple confirmations. My partner went to pick up and was forced to wait for close to half an hour, where social distancing was not observed (inside or outside), and was then told that his order didn’t exist, despite showing multiple forms of proof. Rather than agreeing to cancel the charge, or fulfill the order, my partner was told to contact the ordering company. The ordering company couldn’t get through to the restaurant (they called multiple times) and the charge remains pending until the restaurant agrees to drop it. We were not the only people who were experiencing these issues. We understand that the pandemic makes food service—particularly for small businesses—extremely difficult. However, many other restaurants successfully navigate online orders, and stop accepting them when they are unable to complete them. It is unacceptable to put people in danger by requiring them to congregate for long periods of time, only to not honor...
Read moreSUPERB! Charming REAL Italian restaurant. Everything is a pleasure, from the friendly and attentive service, to the chilled bottles of water, to, the food.
The food is clearly made by a chef who 1) knows what they're doing, and 2) cares. The flavors are distinct, deep and delightful.
The meal starts with bread, both sourdough and focaccia with a wonderful olive oil and herb dipping sauce.
My friend had the Pollo alla Marsala - "Two lightly floured breasts of chicken, sautéed with sweet Marsala wine and savory button mushrooms." A big portion, full boneless chicken breast, lots of vegetables and potatoes. Savory, rich, really delicious.
It was late so I just had the Caciotta Fritta - "Hand-rolled and lightly breaded goat cheese, deep-fried and served with roasted red bell peppers and quartered Roma tomatoes over mixed greens, dressed in our balsamic vinaigrette." Perfectly executed, with exceptionally good dressing.
This is the kind of Italian food you can't make at home--so why try? Just come here. I'm certainly...
Read moreI was craving some good, authentic, and affordable Italian food when I came across this Italian restaurant while driving. After checking for pescatarian options, I decided to give it a try. The pasta I chose had squid ink noodles, which I had never personally tried before. The cozy and comfortable vibe reminded me of the Italian restaurants I had been to in the past. The dim lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere, making conversations easy to focus on without distractions. The pasta was delicious and served in a timely manner. I particularly enjoyed the creamy tomato sauce, which worked wonderfully with the squid ink noodles. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary olive oil dip that accompanied the fresh bread. The olive oil had a distinct and intense flavor, which may not be everyone’s preference, but I personally enjoyed it. Overall, the restaurant felt...
