Maybe this place is good in person but our delivery today was really off. The chicken and rice were great. But everything else was not. The dolmas were frozen for some reason and inedible, which was a total let down. For some reason we got more garlic paste than hummus, and the hummus barely covered the bottom of the to-go side-dish tray (in pic it’s already eaten a bit but you can see on the sides how high it was). We thought maybe that’s just how small the potions are, but the tzatziki that came with the dish (assuming it was supposed to be the same size as the hummus) was enough for 4-5 people. The pita was like the pita you could buy at any Ralphs or Vons. We ordered a wrap and it was dripping with so much liquid (not sauce, but watery liquid) that it fell apart immediately when you picked it up. I’m bummed b/c the chicken and rice by themselves were really good, and we wanted to like this place given all the great reviews. Something maybe just went wrong...
Read moreOrdered food off the restaurant's website. Have been ordering from here for a while. After an hour and 20 minutes waiting I called the restaurant who said the driver was in traffic. The past two times ordering I experienced long waits and they always say traffic. Not sure what routes they're taking but it always says 9 minutes from the restaurant to me when I check. Let's set that aside for now.
The driver then calls five minutes later to let me know he's 7 minutes away. When he arrives he tells me the restaurant forgot my order. When I tell him they told me it was traffic he then says the delay was traffic. At this point I am already deciding on not ordering from them again, but at least happy to have my food.
Well, the food is usually quite good, but this time the meat was tough and they left off one of my sides.
Not sure what's happened in the last couple months, but I will not be ordering food from...
Read moreClassy joint with a heavy lunch and dinner crowd, but you won't find better Greek food in the area.
They have a hefty menu with a bit of everything to please every palette, including some great falafel plates and Greek salads. My favorites are their chicken plates and wraps, though. The meat is always perfectly cooked and seasoned, and they come a few different varieties including BBQ. The Chicken Pita Wrap with tzatziki sauce is particularly good, and you can get your choice of sides with any plate or wrap, from hot potatoes to babaganoush, take your pick.
They have a few boozy drinks on the menu as well as soft drinks and coffee. Nothing too exciting, but if you're craving some hearty Greek food, there's no better place in the area. Prices are a bit up there for the portions you get, though. $11 or more a plate, plus more with a side and drink.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, yes they have...
