Extremely Disappointed — Used to Be Our Go-To Spot

This place used to be one of our favorites. My boyfriend and I would go out of our way just to eat here, even pass up closer spots because we believed in the service and quality. Unfortunately, that all changed today!

This review is specifically directed at the man working the hot sub station tonight —His attitude was completely uncalled for and honestly ruined the entire experience. When my boyfriend politely asked to add toppings after the sub was heated, the employee reacted as if he was an inconvenience instead of customer. He unwrapped the sandwich with visible frustration stating , “You’re supposed to tell us that before we cook it.” Really? Since Last time I checked we don’t work here .. The vibe was so off — like we were bothering him for simply wanting our food made right. He proceeded to add the toppings sloppily, like it was a punishment for my man not asking earlier. It felt disrespectful.

On top of that, the store was packed and understaffed. The line was wrapped around the store and they had two workers handling everything. It’s unfair to the customers and the staff. Management seriously needs to retrain employees on basic customer service and consider hiring more help. The energy here is no longer welcoming — it’s chaotic and unprofessional.

We expected more. If you don’t mind poor attitudes, long waits, and rushed food, go ahead and roll the dice. But we won’t be back. Total letdown. If I could give zero...

Got here at 935p, asked when they closed, they said 10p, and they made me feel rushed. I asked a girl flinging a mop, after I paid for my expensive regular tuna sub, chips and soda, 12.00, if I could sit inside, and she just gave me a sour look, then hesitantly said, yeah. The chips were already put away, and they then brought some out, and I chose a pack. People were still coming into the store ordering and it felt weird and chaotic. When they made my sandwich they slapped it together so fast, I barly got to say what and how much toppings i wanted. There was so much noise from music, and some kind of machinery, I could not hear them, and they could not hear me. My sandwich was extra cold when i bit into it. Too cold for my liking because it took away the flavor and texture of the sandwich. Not a good...

I’ve been to this location a couple of times with mixed reviews. Firstly, the parking situation is abysmal, so unless you have some particular reason for being in this area and perhaps are on some kind of time constraint, I wouldn’t bother dealing with the hassle of coming here.

That being said, the food is good, pretty much on or with other Jersey Mike’s; but, again as far as time constraints, they don’t seem to honor their order ahead that well. I had an order that not only was placed ahead, but they said it was ready, but when I arrived it in fact was NOT READY DESPITE THEM SAYING IT WAS and instead of making it right away, the guy seemed to just put the ticket in line with the others, which is unacceptable as far as I’m concerned.
