This is my first time coming to Grand Central Market in DTLA. I had a few hours before the event I was attending started so I decided to walk down and get some breakfast. I originally was going to try EggS* but the line was so long. No thanks!
Walked around, saw this little spot and that they served breakfast and there were plenty of available tables so I said what the heck. And I'm so glad I did!
The people at the counter are super nice! That means alot to me. The food came out fast, fresh and hot off the grill.
Who doesn't love tater tots, ok? The tater tots breakfast did not disappoint! This place is a great choice for fresh, made to order food and friendly service. No frills, no fluff, just a good tasting, good quality meal. I will definitely come again if ever in the area to try their other signature dishes. What better choice than the other place! It reminded me of the breakfast my dad would make us on a Sunday morning.
P.S - I already devoured some of the bacon when I took the picture. It comes...
Read moreOn June 20, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., I placed a to-go order for the Teriyaki Cheeseburger at Jose Chiquito. This was done to ensure that I would not miss my scheduled Metrolink train departure. The quoted preparation time for my order was approximately 8 minutes. However, it actually took 18 minutes to complete. Despite this delay, I was still able to successfully catch the Metro B Line at Pershing Square to Union Station in time for my train.
I consumed the burger during my train ride. The burger had a charbroiled texture similar to an In-N-Out burger, which made it quite enjoyable. The patty was slightly on the salty side, as opposed to the sweeter side as mentioned by one reviewer. The total cost of the burger was $10.40, which was slightly lower than the listed price of $10.50.
The customer service provided at Jose Chiquito was satisfactory. Overall, I had a positive experience and would consider ordering from Jose Chiquito again...

Bring back the big patties, that was the only reason I paid so much for these burgers.
Old Review: Their burgers are really good, I think they grind up their own patties or something because it's above average from your local Mom & Pop Shop burgers.
A little on the pricy side but everything is expensive these days so whatever.
Wish I could customize over the DoorDash App but a simple call and they accommodate if you ask nicely, (I asked for Chipotle Mayo instead of regular which is SO MUCH BETTER!)
I've also tried their Chicken Wraps a long time ago and they're really good!
They got those signature fries that burger joints have on deck with the Lawry's seasoning salt, so good...
