Over the weekend we had the great pleasure of having catered Olio Pizza for my son’s 4yr old party. It was nothing short of amazing!
Michael and his assistant (Paulo) came 1hr before the party started, to prep and setup. As soon as guests arrived they started cranking out pizzas left and right. All specialty pizzas with fresh ingredients and fresh dough! They had these portable ovens that they setup in my backyard that ensured the pies were as fresh as can be! Guests were even able to request their own personalized custom pizza, which was pretty cool! The kids loved the pizza as well! It was an huge hit! Imagine having the Blaze or Pieology experience right in your very home, except better quality!
At the end of the day they had over a dozen left over doughs so they made all the remaining pizzas and boxed them up to go for us. Let’s just say I had more than party favors for our guests to take home. My guests were thoroughly pleased with the food and service that Michael and Paulo gave us. They were both masters in their craft. They also cleaned up the area prior to leaving, which was much appreciated. I couldn’t be more happier with Olio Pizza’s catering service. Thanks Michael! Would definitely recommend for any large parties of 40+. Great for Adult parties and...
Read moreZero Quality Assurance = 1. I did not receive everything I paid for to feed a family of 3. 2. When hot food that is best served hot is delivered later than promised, it is cold 3.Olio WFP (GMC) phone is not set up to leave vm or txt msgs; this strongly implies they don't want to hear from customers or solving simple problems,e.g,, bringing items not "delivered-per-pre-paid- contract". 4. The pizzas were placed on the cardboard instead of the corrugated paper side of the insert. No reheating can overcome the taste of cardboard. 5. By stapling their bags, customers cannot verify order at point-of-delivery without ripping open non-transparent paper bag. 6. I suspect their best food is prepared, served, and consumed on-site. Therefore, why appear to be greedy for$$$ by offering delivery that the owner-operator cannot fully support ( see Comment 3 about the phone)? I AM NOW DEEPLY CONCERNED AS TO WHAT THEIR HEALTH DEPT GRADE IS. Hoping it was at minimum an A, since I will no longer order for delivery from Olio. Poor reflection on the GRUBHUB + OLIO WFP GMC partnership. If you want to grow, you MUST DO BETTER!
*What does this mean? Perhaps it would explain the poor service and or quality of...
Read moreHad a very interesting experience tonight. I was looking forward to pizza but I guess it wasn’t my night. First of all, I was given a buzzer that did not work, was off, or should I say, I “went too far” out of range. By too far, I was at Golden Road Brewery. After 20mins of not getting ring on my buzzer, I went to check on my pizza. Was prompted, they had been buzzing me. Interestingly enough, I don’t think it was on. Once I sat down, I noticed my dough was still raw and my pizza was limp. I went back and kindly asked to get it cooked through a little more. Was prompted that I needed to ask that at the register when ordering. Was then told pizza was cooked and came out like that. Clearly, I wasn’t getting my pizza cooked more. I promptly requested for my money back. Then was told by the 3 employees there that due to the pizza being cold it looked like that. And that it my cheese was just cold. I didn’t feel comfortable consuming raw dough. I think we all know how cooked pizza is suppose to look like. In all honesty, I just wanted my crust crips and my dough cooked all the way through. They were upset I asked for my money back. Sad to see the Latino community isn’t there for...
