We had a great meal tonight at Kabuki Japanese Restaurant! We had good service, everything tasted great, and we were in and out in a completely reasonable amount of time. We ordered a variety of different rolls and meals as a group of 6 - we got a couple of ginger salads, seaweed salad, krab salad, miso soups, Cilantro Albacore Roll, Kabuki Roll, Tiger Roll, Sunkissed Roll, Grilled Shrimp Roll and BBQ beef short ribs. The ginger salads had excellent dressing - some of the better ginger salads we ever had! Definitely would recommend this to start. The krab avocado salad was really nice as well. Miso soup tasted exactly like what miso soup should taste like, and the seaweed salad was the same! Here’s how I would rank the sushi rolls starting from the top: Grilled Shrimp Roll, Tiger Roll, Cilantro Albacore Roll, Sunkissed Roll and Kabuki Roll. All of them tasted great but perhaps the only one I wouldn’t order again would be the Kabuki Roll just because it was a bit too simple for my liking. However, if you’re not as adventurous with sushi, that might be the perfect option. All in all, this was a really nice place and I would definitely return! Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a good sushi place in the valley!

We haven't been to Kabuki in ages, and it was our first time at this location. Not sure if their menu has changed because of the pandemic, but they seemed to have removed some items (no mackerel sushi and no more sushi boats). They did have a new menu adding more choices to their considerably extensive offerings. Great deal with the Family Table, which can feed 4 adults (per our server) with chicken & beef teriyaki, bbq pork ribs, gyoza, tempura, California roll, and rice for only $35. Food is very flavorful, and their veggies and sushi are made with fresh ingredients. Enjoyed the daikon in their wonderful side salads, and the Albacore Crunch Roll was a good call, with savory ponzu sauce and crunchy garlic embellishing their freshly made albacore roll. Great place for large groups and families. Available indoor and outdoor seating. Very much recommended for reasonably priced, quality Japanese food. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

Well, today we have to call the waiter. 15 minutes went by, and our server was nowhere to be found. Finally, the girl who cleans the tables called our server. She made a gesture of unhappiness and ignored us . She finally came to our table. She had a bad attitude . She never came to check after the food was served and the food took 43 min and the restaurant was Nor even full. At last, when we were done eating, she came and asked if we needed forks while we were holding our chop stick. She assumed we couldn't use chop sticks either. Overall, our server carried herself very poorly, unprofessional, and discriminatory. The food was delicious as usual. I have been here many times for the last 4 years, and I have never been treated so unprofessional . Attention management, please educate servers. This is not the way to treat anyone. We have been going to Kabuki for many years. The food has always been good and until recently the wait staff were sweet and attentive. The young male waiters are wonderful and our Friday waitress is not only beautiful but respectful and sweet. Lately we have been going for lunch two to three times a week. We order virtually the same items every time unless we bring another guest. Each time the food has been good. Every time we go the one waitress scowls at us, NEVER a smile or greeting and we are told we cant sit in our usual booth because they have a split shift. We are older and we enjoy sitting where we are comfortable but because we insisted, we became the subject of rudeness and abuse. The waitress decided she wouldnt serve us although she seated others and served them. She sent the other waitress over. I believe this was on Monday. I ordered the Teryaki beef lunch and said very clearly NO teryaki on the meat. We got our order but for the first time ever the meat was inedible. I asked the waitress to please replace it. I was apologetic and spoke nicely to her. She brought me the replacement beef covered in Teryaki. So again nicely I asked her to bring me the beef without the teryaki. She huffed and puffed but got it replaced and I said thank you. Never thought anymore about it. The following week we arranged to take a friend to Kabuki for lunch. The wait staff refused to serve us and the manager was just as bad. We walked out with our guest. Everytime we went there they acted like they were doing us a favor. Disgusting way to treat regular. elderly customers. We are regulars at Hikari and Cho Cho San where we are greeted with smiles and respect. You need to train your staff how to treat customers As long as you have the same lunch staff we will take our regular business elsewhere. We don't need to spend our money and be treated like garbage. Ps your restaurant looks old , shabbyand tired. Time...

Giving 1 star is too much for them! Here is my story! On Tuesday at 4:45pm I ordered food from them to pick up. On 101 freeway I got in a big car accident with 3 different cars. I went into hospital for check up. I couldn’t pick up the food and i let them know what happened.

Today I call to place an order and the girl in the phone told me we will not serve you any longer, she laughed and put down the phone. I went at the restaurant and confronted them with my arm on a cast and they did not care. The manager told me I don’t care, you should have picked up the food on Tuesday, without even looking at me not even once! I told that this attitude is very wrong and treating costumers this way is very insensitive when they know I was in a big accident. I said shame on you and she said shame on you!

Awful people with no sense of humanity whatsoever! Imagine expecting from them to ask how are you feeling and we are very sorry for the accident! The worst experience in my life! Pure EVIL! And I order from them 4-5 times a week for 6 months and this is the first time canceling an order with them due to car accident! That’s crazy thinking that I supported this business for 6 months so they don’t go bankrupt...
