We had such a great night at Deux Bistro, this super charming French spot we found through the Red Dining Book. It’s father-and-son owned, which adds to the warm, welcoming vibe. The service was amazing! The servers were so kind, helpful, and accomodating. The father owner came by our table to check in, which was such a nice touch and made the whole experience feel really personal. :)

Food-wise, we started with the salmon spread appetizer, which was light and delicious and one of my absolute favorites. We also got the french onion soup, which wasn't super cheesy and had a nice balance. Then we got the escargot and this was my first time trying escargot. I have kind of a texture phobia, so I was definitely nervous, but honestly it was way better than I expected! It was buttery and garlicky and can almost be compared to the texture of a scallop. I was delightfully surprised!

For mains, we had a little bit of everything: steak frites, branzino (which I had—it was so well cooked and crispy), and lamb chops. All 4 of us cleared every plate, if that's not saying something! And of course, we couldn’t skip dessert. We got the chocolate mousse and the crème brûlée, and I swear, borh of these were out of this world!

We seriously had such a great time and couldn’t stop talking about it afterward. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy, elevated dinner with amazing service and French food...

2nd review Jan 8 25. Our personal server Tim Torre was exemplary. Brought 6 people this time. The food of each plate was really good. Tim was quite knowledgeable on each dish and offered precise details of each dish. Well done! This is a boutique steak place, better, than the old Brandywine at fallbrook. And also loved the escargot. All of our group put bread in the sause. Brilliant. - review by Harry

First visit. Was greated by MaitreD. Anahi. She was very nice and made the music volume just right. She showed us to our table that we picked. Guests were older on average for Sunday 6pm meal. Then waiter Johnathan told us about menu questions. Knew his stuff. Nice positive attitude. Wife had Tomato salad. I had Hanger steak. Super good. And fries were as good as any. Bread with butter and shallots. The best. So will come back for the steak and the snails. Nice to have a new place in Woodland Hills. ...

We have been waiting in anticipation for the opening of this French restaurant in our neighborhood.

We started with the beet parfait salad which was a great balance of texture and taste. It was so unique and delicious. Our main courses were the steak frites and roasted chicken with green beans, carrots and mashed potatoes. Both dishes were absolutely cooked and seasoned to perfection. Loved every bite! We ended the evening with the vanilla crepe cake drizzled in chocolate. It was utterly decadent!

This place definitely lived up to the hype. The price for the food was spot on. Everything tasted so fresh and well prepared. On top of it all, our server Chris was amazing! He was friendly and attentive, gave the best recommendations for our wines to pair with our dinner.

The food, ambiance and service were utterly superb and we can't wait...
