I had the pleasure of dining at Blvd Indian Restaurant, and it was truly an exceptional experience! We ordered the chicken tikka masala and saag paneer, and every bite was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. What really stood out to me was the authenticity of the dishes - it's clear that the chefs at Blvd Indian Restaurant put love and care into every meal they prepare.
The ambiance was also wonderful, with traditional Indian music playing softly in the background, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere.
But what truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
I've tried several other Indian restaurants in the area, but Blvd Indian Restaurant is definitely a cut above the rest. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable.
I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more of their amazing dishes! Highly recommend Blvd Indian Restaurant to anyone craving authentic, mouth-watering Indian cuisine.
Second Visit Update
I'm still reeling from my second visit to Blvd Indian Restaurant! This time, I dove into their seafood options, and oh man, it was love at first bite!
The presentation was stunning - every dish was a work of art. But the real magic happened when I took a bite... the flavors just melted on my mouth! You can tell the chef pours their heart and soul into every dish.
I was really impressed when I found out the chef has 12 years of experience cooking up a storm in the kitchen! They're super picky about using only the best, authentic ingredients, and it shows.
The service? Top-notch! Our server was warm, friendly, and super knowledgeable about the menu. They helped us navigate the options and made sure we had everything we needed.
And can we talk about the lassi for a sec? It's creamy, dreamy, and utterly delightful! The complimentary sweets at the end were the perfect cherry on top.
Honestly, Blvd Indian Restaurant deserves all the accolades. They're consistent, innovative, and genuinely passionate about serving up amazing food. If I had to put my money on it, I'd say they're Michelin-star material, hands down!
If you haven't been to Blvd Indian Restaurant yet, do yourself a favor and get on over there! Your taste buds will thank you.
Third Visit update
I'm beyond thrilled to share my latest dining adventure at Blvd Indian Restaurant, which has now become my go-to spot! For my third visit, I decided to try their House Special for Two, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable culinary journey.
We began with the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was just as divine as I remembered it. But the real excitement came when we tried the Chicken Tandoori for the first time - it was love at first bite! The flavors were incredibly rich, and the tender chicken just melted in my mouth.
And then, there were the samosas... oh, those heavenly samosas! Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and packed with a plenty of flavors that left me speechless. I'm not exaggerating when I say that they're the best samosas I've ever had the pleasure of devouring!
The Naan bread, infused with an array of aromatic spices, perfectly complemented our meal. We also savored the vibrant Vegetables dish, bursting with flavor and texture.
I've never experienced any adverse reactions after consuming their food, which is a testament to their commitment to using only the finest ingredients. My faith in this restaurant has grown exponentially, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience that not only delights the palate but also nourishes the body.
In short, Blvd Indian Restaurant has won me over with its incredible food, impeccable service, and dedication to using only the best...
Read moreMy wife and I had one of the most amazing experiences tonight! After searching for the "Best butter chicken in the San Fernando Valley" on google, we came across this gem of a restaurant and noticed that they had really good reviews. All 5 stars. We decided to give them a try. We were greeted by Safwan and seated right away. We ordered butter chicken, garlic basil Naan, chicken Tikka biryani and an order of chicken tandoori. While we were waiting for our food, Safwan brought out some crispy bread and three different delicious dips. While we were tasting the delicious dips, Safwan brought us a couple of vegetables samosas and stated that he wanted us to try them while we were waiting for our food. This was the first time that we tried samosas. It was love at first bite! The filling was so delicious! They had potatoes and veggies on the inside which were seasoned to perfection and a crispy outside. When our food arrived, the portions were impressive. The chicken Tikka biryani contained big chunks of chicken. Generous is an understatement. The rice was long grain basmati rice with delicious seasonings, small bits of almonds and raisins. Buttery, full of flavor and so much aroma! The butter chicken was creamy, full of delicious cinnamon, cumin and other aromatic seasonings. The garlic basil Naan is fresh, hot and also very, very good! I cannot compliment the service as it is top notch! Safwan is so nice, so kind and he has a heart of gold. He also brought us two delicious mango Lassi drinks and even brought us desert. We felt like we were guests at his house. Safwan really went above and beyond. We could not finish our food as the portions were so big. They packed everything up for us, and needless to say, we have lunch for tomorrow. BLVD Indian restaurant is a hidden gem. Once the word gets out, they will have a line coming out of the door! The food was phenomenal, and the service was impeccable! We could not ask for a better experience. This is our new go-to spot for delicious Indian food! A++++++ Five stars! Thank you, Safwan, for your hospitality. 🙏🙏🙏 We will definitely be back real soon! They deserve every single 5 star rating because they worked hard at making sure everything from A to Z is beyond anyone's...
Read moreI recently visited Blvd Restaurant with my wife and kids, and while the service was exceptional, the food left much to be desired.
What went well:
Service: From the moment we entered, we were greeted with friendly smiles and seated promptly, which set a positive tone for the evening. Our server was incredibly attentive, offered great recommendations, and checked in at just the right moments. It was clear they genuinely cared about providing a great experience.
Ambiance: The restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, which added to the overall enjoyment.
Sweet Dish: Despite the food letdown, the server kindly brought a complimentary sweet dish for my kids, and they absolutely loved it. It was a nice gesture that helped improve our experience.
What didn’t go well:
Food Quality: Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the level of service.
Egg Fried Rice: This was a strange mix of curry and rice—honestly, it was hard to tell the difference between the fried rice and the biryani. They both looked the same.
Chicken Biryani: The flavor was off, and it didn’t taste authentic.
Chicken Karahi: Bland, with no real depth of flavor.
Chicken Volcano: I had asked for a higher spice level, but they just mixed chili powder and served it. I could clearly smell the raw chili powder, and the taste was overwhelming and unbalanced.
Flavor & Presentation: We had high expectations, especially with a 4.9 rating, but the flavor and presentation were far from what we expected. I even asked the server where the chef was from and whether they were familiar with authentic Indian cuisine. It was clear that this place might not cater to many Indian customers, which explains why the dishes were lacking the authentic flavors we’re used to.
Final Thoughts: While the service was top-notch and the ambiance was pleasant, the food was a major letdown. The cook definitely needs to improve. If you're just looking for a place with great service and don’t mind a lackluster meal, this might still be an option. However, if you’re after quality Indian food, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
Pros:
Excellent, friendly service
Cozy and inviting atmosphere
Cons:
Below-par food quality
Lacking authentic...
