“She is probably are better at memorizing the scripts.” My partner said. “Don’t expect great service. She is in a wrong job”. Her service was lacking the friendliness, attentiveness, and effectiveness.

Its just annoying for such a nice place?! We sat with our dirty dishes on our table for the ALL duration of our stay! Plus she forgot the cutlery after she brought drinks, soups, sweets and two main dishes… and other waiter brought them for us in meantime. Our table was poorly cleaned by the male waiter and it didn’t have an olive oil. My partner took it from another table.

This girl greeted us with sad face and told us that they run out of croissants and did not offer any alternative. Second time she told me they run out of passion fruit tart that I wanted to order, third time she told me they have just lemon tart left. I ordered the dry blue berry muffin and later on the pretty and sweet lemon tart. We had to wait for long time to pay. A disaster…

It’s a busy place that has just two young waiters. Though has a nice French - Belgian faire. Good designed versatile menu with food for all types of diets had a great graphic design and well-readable allergy description.

Black lentil bowl is just lentil salad with some tiny hummus table soon on top. Big portion of this salad, I took the leftover salad home. The lentil soup was delicious so as baguette. Nice interior and flair with outside seating. There was a group of young adults with laptops who used it for the Co-working space. Coffee was good as the fresh orange juice. The temperature during the winters day was quite chilly.

Unfortunately giving just 3 stars as service is more Important than anything. We left annoyed and a bad feeling. Maybe just ordering on the counter would...

The service here is so bad. I can’t believe some of the people working here haven’t been fired yet. I sat with a table of 3 and our waiter was the most careless and annoyed waiter I’ve ever seen. Apparently asking for water is an annoyance and will be met with this waiter “accidentally” spilling coffee on the table. He didn’t clean it up either, he spilled it and walked away lol. Our food arrived and it was whatever. I used to go to the Manhattan Beach location a lot and this location isn’t even close in terms of service and quality of food. But that’s fine. The service was what left a worse taste than the food. Just like some of the other reviewers said as well, we had to go inside to pay because our waiter was nowhere to be found after dropping off the bill. The woman inside was annoyed but did it anyways. I NEVER leave no tip but this time I really felt like our waiter didn’t deserve one. The lady at the register rolled her eyes and stormed off without a word when she saw I left no tip.

The people working here need to be retrained urgently, but who knows if they’ll even change their ways after that. It was soul sucking to be in here and I’m sure the employees feel the same considering the way they act. Go to the other location down the street instead....

A few days ago, my granddaughter took me to Le Pain Quotidien as a treat. I usually go to the one in Westwood; however, since she lives closer to the Studio City location, we went there.

The food is always on par; the lentil soup is to die for! The pastries are beautiful, and the presentation is immaculate. However, the service—particularly the management—I cannot say the same. There was a lady with short, curly blonde hair and glasses, standing tall with the most negative look on her face. I could tell she was management because of her attire. The servers and baristas looked really uncomfortable around her, and the laid-back/comforting environment was compromised due to this. Unclear if she was the manager or assistant manager. But she barely did any work as the wait staff hustled with fast traffic and incoming orders.

I'm usually not one to post a negative review, but this woman left a bad taste in my mouth. As a 10-year manager myself, I would expect top management to be team players, not a scanning machine. Whoever is in charge of top management at this location, do better. I could tell your team works hard to accomidate so...

The usual Ham & Gruyere Croissant, muffin and coffee - is it me or does this place feel a little dirty inside? - TOASTED HAM & GRUYÈRE CROISSANT served with a trio of mustard - SUNNY-SIDE BREAKFAST BOWL - organic sunny-side egg,* avocado, caramelized onion, roasted Brussels sprouts and sweet potato, farro, massaged kale, citrus-cumin salt, pistachio dukkah, served with our artisanal bread

I've ordered from Le Pain Quotidien on Too Good To Go a couple of times for a quick bite after work. The box typically contains 4 pieces of pastry or more. This store in particular gave me 3 and was adamant about adding more. The cashier's expression also turned sour when I mentioned Too Good To Go. I wouldn't recommend anyone ordering unless they're buying in-store.
