Boneless Korean Style Fried Chicken Medium ($20): We got the original instead of spicy meal preparation. The chicken was lightly battered and you can feel the texture of the rectangular shaped chicken pieces as you chew on them. This place does provide radish and cabbage sides for free with the korean fried chicken so that's a plus.
You then choose your flavor which costs $2; I think that's ridiculous & that the flavor should be included. We got soy garlic which was really good & better than other KFC restaurants.
Wasabi Onion Mayo Dipping Sauce ($2): This sauce had a watery consistency and didn't have any particular strong flavors that stood out.
Spicy Drunken Cheese Powder Dipping Sauce ($2): This was indeed spicy and had a few big clumps of powder. I thought it was ok and definitely something you can skip.
K-BBQ Dipping Sauce ($2): This is the typical red Korean sweet & mildly spicy sauce. Always a great choice for Korean...
Read moreAt first I was concerned because there I was the only person there waiting for my friend to arrive. We had a dinner meeting there. Then I noticed all the food pick up and delivery drivers coming in to get food for delivery and I knew the food was good. The place is small can hold about 30 people for a meal and the decor is simple. The place is clean and the sushi was fresh and tasty. I ordered the salmon, yellowtail and albacore sushi. It was great. My friend's plate was empty with little evidence that there was once food on it. I had to order more salmon as it was my favorite and so good. The staff was attentive, kind and respectful of our ongoing conversation. The service was perfect. The parking lot was small and shared with other restaurants and businesses. I see why they were so busy with delivery drivers ...their food is good. Whenever I'm in the area for another studio session this will be my...
Read moreOnce a beloved spot, this joint venture between a sushi place and a chicken BBQ restaurant was a colossal disappointment. The experience fell far below expectations. The service was dismissive, with a waitress more distracted with her phone than attending to guests. We attempted to order hot sake, only to find out later that the machine was down—information that wasn't relayed to us. The wait for three sushi rolls stretched beyond reason, being over twenty minutes.
The decline from what was once a loved restaurant is disheartening. The lack of communication, slow service, and inappropriate behavior marred what was supposed to be an enjoyable dining experience. Hopefully, these issues are addressed so that LemonFish can again become what...
