Absolutely horrible experience!! We got in around 10pm after driving from Las Vegas and all we wanted to do was get some food, take a shower and go to bed but that did not happen. We walked to Walgreens so I could get bath soak because that's all I wanted all day and when we got back to the room and I started the bath the shower nozzle to turn the water on just fell off in my hand. (It was held together with cheap black plastic). I went to the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do tonight and that we would have to wait until the morning when they could get someone to fix it. We went to the room and wiped ourselves of with wash clothes because we felt so dirty from being in the desert we couldn't even sleep. We waited all morning and no one ever came to fix it so we went to see what was going on and the young man at the front desk said we they couldn't get anyone to fix it because it's the 4th of July. I asked for a discount on the room because $150 to go to bed dirty is insanity and they refused so Imade him call the manager. The manager said we could have an hour late checkout and that was it. This is absolutely unacceptable so now had to argue with them just to let us use another room to shower because it's now almost noon and we still are dirty and upset. They let us in a dirty room that someone else had stayed in that the maid hadn't cleaned yet and told us we could get ready in there. We didn't have any clean towels, soap, etc and had to asked them for all of these things while we were in the dirty room from someone else. At this point we have still been nice even though my I was going to be late for a major function I needed to attend and we demanded to speak to the manager ourselves and the young man at the front desk would not cooperate. I showered first and then my friend did, when He went to turn it off the handle from this shower broke off in his hand just as the one in the other room did!!!! We took the handle out right away and showed them how ridiculous this was and he threatened to charge us for breaking the showers. At this point we are furious and he threatened to call the police if we didn't leave when all we wanted to do is speak with a manager. We got our deposit back but they charged us $150 for this horrible horrible experience!!!!!!!! Never ever ever stay there!! We will be calling the owners every single day until we...

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL||||The owner of this hotel who checked us in is obnoxious and extremely rude. I could not believe the way this guy spoke to my family and I when weIl checked in.||I had booked this hotel room via Agoda and when we checked in, he said he had no record of it. He then later found me under a booking.com reservation. I told him I am not sure what happened here because I booked through Agoda. He then said to me “you didn’t book through Agoda you booked through Booking.com” when I tried to explain to him I didn’t book through booking.com he then said to me “my friend you need to learn how to book a hotel room, you don’t even know who you booked through”. This made me extremely angry because of what he said to me and his tone of this voice. He spoke to me in such a condescending manner. I said to him “please stop talking to me like I am an idiot, I know who I booked through” and then showed him the email from Agoda. He then replied you are an idiot because you can’t even book a hotel room.||||My wife and her elderly parents were so distressed and upset at this guy shouting and raising his voice I decided to check out the following day and find a proper hotel. When I told him, I was checking out he agreed to not charge me for the 3rd day. I then asked him to give me something in writing to confirm this and he responded with “I am not giving you anything in writing, speak to the company you booked through if you know who they are, I am not here to babysit you because you don’t know how to book a hotel room” I then calmly said to him “why do you keep talking to me like this I am just trying to resolve what has happened”, he then said “you are the one being an idiot because you don’t know what you are doing” at this point I just walked away from him and as I was walking away her said “good walk away you ||a..sshole”.||||I have never in my life experienced such behavior from a hotel owner and I travel frequently due to the nature of my work. I would not recommend anyone t stay here as the guy is the rudest and most unpleasant person I have ever met and plus the hotel rooms are terrible. There were stains all over the carpets, the fridge shelves were broken, all the walls were scuffed and marked, the room stank of a horrible smell, the lamp shades were all damaged and dirty and the bed was broken and leaning...

Myself and my partner stayed here the last weekend of August 2014, this was without a doubt the worst hotel of our whole trip.

The rooms were TINY and there was no door separating the room for the bathroom. The area where the hotel is was not great we did not feel safe walking around at night, and we felt fine walking around NYC at night.

When we arrived we asked reception the best way to walk to get some nice places to eat. The guy obviously had no local knowledge as where he told us to go was only Mc Donalds, Burger King and Hooters. After finally finding food we decided to go back and have an early night as we were really tired, wrong choice. We were in room 110 at the reception and the walls are paper thin. Were woken up at least every hour with people coming in or going out and could hear the guy at reception talking to his friends on his phone.

In the morning we were up early and asked for a room change only to be rudely told that would not be possible and that this always happens and we would just have to put up with it. We were so shocked that this was a regular occurrence and we weren't fore warned and given the opportunity to book another room or given a warning and a lower cost for the room. We asked to speak to a manager but were told that it would not be possible. We then asked for a refund for the next night and we would find another hotel. We were told that because we booked through a 3rd party hotel site we would have to contact them for a refund, so that is what I did. I called Agonda and spoke to a very helpful girl who said she would give us a refund she just needed to confirm with the hotel reception. The reception would not agree to the refund and would not give us a reason and would still not let us talk to a manager. Feeling extremely frustrated we packed our bags and found an amazing hotel in Santa Monica by the beach. We still have not received our refund however Agonda are looking into it as they said there is no reason why the hotel should not authorize it. I would not recommend this place to anyone, it should not be called a Hotel as it is closer to a motel or hostel. Pay the extra cash and go to a Hotel that understand the concept of customer service...

This place will scam you out of your deposit. Beware while it is in a good location . This is similar to staying in a cheap hostel or motel. Take pictures of everything ! This hotel charged me for “ damaged “ towels which I had to laugh at because the towels were disgusting and thin clearly very well used. I even took pictures of the towels because how thin they were ! Hardly worth $20 that I was charged. Not sure how a single woman in her 40s would damage $20 worth of towels in the 3 nights I was there ! I was pretty much gone all day and only there in the evening.Just ridiculous. They did not notify me while I was there but instead charged me days later and I noticed the charge on my card. I called to find out what the charge was and this is what the front desk woman told me. Don’t look too close at anything or you will be disgusted as is expected for a 2 star motel. The room was facing an alley and the curtains did not completely cover the windows so actually used a clip to keep them closed as it was very invasive and didn’t want anyone peeping in while I was sleeping .The bathroom door does not close all the way so someone could easily be looking in from the alley. Just creepy. Also noise in the hallway starts at 6am so don’t plan on sleeping in. Trust me splurge the little bit more and stay elsewhere. I wish I had ! If you still want to stay in this cheap place bring your own linens and towels because no doubt they will find some thing to charge you extra for.

This hotel looks nothing like the online photos. It looks like they ripped up that red carpet in the hallway and there is nothing there now but a microwave. The room did not look like a hotel room. The bed made a loud banging noise on the right side every time I moved. The walls were paper thin. There was either music or someone singing at random times in the night which could be heard in my room. We found this sketchy note slid under our door the next morning after our first night stating that they were doing TV maintenance and had to come into our room between 12-4, but the note was from August??? We gave it to the guy working there and he had no idea what that was. The bathroom floor had orange stains on it and it was literally a shower curtain and shower head as the “bathing” area. The floor in the bedroom was literally concrete and why was the TV on the right side of the wall. Our window was facing a concrete wall, so i don’t know the point in the curtains. You get what you pay for so if you’re looking for a cheap place to stay then this is it. Also Hollywood Boulevard is dangerous I got harassed and chased by 2 homeless people at different times of the day so don’t recommend walking around there. The staff were really nice. But there was no free donuts. Someone literally took a house and turned it into this hotel. Also they. make you put a $200 deposit but nothing in that room is worth $200.

Really not good. So bad that we paid for a room we didn't stay the night in. We only managed to stay 5 minutes before we felt compelled to leave. Staff was quite unfriendly and unwelcoming. They seemed pleased to charge us and even more so pleased that we didn't stay. The whole interaction with the 2 indian men at check in was very odd and uncomfortable. Room was not even close to clean. This place could be beautiful and warm, but it's cold and grimy with a vibe of disgust. I cannot recommend it at this time
