This place is really nice so beautiful and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately the woman that did my tour as friendly and as nice as she was . She wasn’t as knowledgeable first of all I was told by the that the if your a voucher holder your lease has to be the same as the rent. But then I asked to speak to the nice blonde lady who is the manager and she told me no it doesn’t all you have to do is cover the remaining rent that so I sent in my pay stubs from my bank and it sounded as if I was approved. My back ground was a approved the Spanish guy told me by the way no body where’s name tags now day which is no offense really bad for business EXPECIALLY big high end businesses such as those to no enforce name tags. In case we get abused by staff or get lied on or turned away because of the color of your skin because of your disability big businesses are not allowed to ask about your disability is what I was told they said it was illegal . Someone I know that works in a high end building told me . So that you don’t get discriminated against because of your disability. Which is not something that should ever happen because high end buildings such as that one . Should definitely have accommodations for people with disabilities their never supposed to discriminate against people with disabilities my credit score is not bad. I asked the blonde lady for got her name what is the credit score requirement for this building as a voucher holder so I can inform any body that tries to apply and worn them so they do not waste their time or money or energy applying. But she sadly denied my request and refused to answer . She told me that it’s in the paper work you signed. But as a person with a disability I t have a hard time reading and walking and living. I am supposed to have an in home care provider with me but I don’t so I have to deal with all these issues by myself. I thought this place would be my big break a place where I feel like I don’t have to work I can chill and relax. But my “ credit “ was not approved she saud but that’s not wast I was told by the Spanish guy yesterday that was working he told me all that was left and needed was litterely my pay stubs and they were approved. Not only that but I told the move in deposit was 300 over the phone when I got their I was told it was 500 it just wasn’t changed in the system. I feel like they should have just kept it at 3 it’s not mine or our fault it wasn’t changed. Vues on Gordon did the same exact thing I don’t have any money and they took my only 50 dollar application fee . I feel so financially and emotionally abused. I need a place to live that meets my needs better than the place where I live now. And I feel like the government paved a way for us but these companies are doing everything in their power to keep us out by keeping us from being housed. The all have homes. I feel like if we have money and people to help us spend it on a place to live people we it section 8 vouchers brilliant corners vouchers should not have such fees. Being hosed is a human right and I believe it’s the billionaires and rich people Ms responsibility up help the government Joey’s the poor. A-lot of those poor people are veterans that went to war and need beautiful homes with the right safe people to live in. They they should not be physiologically triggered . Without the us veterans. This country would not be here or what it is now . The homeless people make it dangerous and unhealthy for people tourists as well as workers and employees to live and survive. They piss every where and it’s not their fault it’s the companies that have the power and platform to house them yet they refuse to do just that. We need your financial and mental support up make American great again and that starts by opening your doors as well as hearts to people in desperate need of these houses we should not abuse or take advantage of these soldiers and the citizens of hhis country choosing materialistic objects over human lives is evil , wickedly cruel and unusual punishment. It is not the way...
Read moreI have been meaning to leave this review since Apr/ then Aug. I moved here in apr &Matthew was amazing &helped me out. Armand was great too! miss them both so much!!. Olivia is incredible. She is the best leasing agent you will find very flexible &makes sure you are happy! When my dog was sick & depressed with a unit that was very dark &no patio, I was able to talk to her &transfer units; she allowed me to transfer earlier than what is allowed due to the situation. You will not find a complex that is more dog friendly, or a lease manager that loves dogs more than her! Fernando was awesome and helped me out with finding another unit. He is friendly, hospitable and &always says hi Alice to my dog &remembers her name. He only met her maybe twice, but he remembers her name. He also allowed me to bring Alice into the new units to make sure that she liked them when we were touring! Matthew did the done the same! However, when I originally saw units, I toured 5 PM in March &did not realize the original unit I was in had bad lighting in the wind windows didn’t open. Cody, the maintenance guy. He is absolutely incredible too! He always checks in make sure everything is OK & he literally saved my dog from the first unit lol when I saved her, he literally did save her. Somehow the bedroom door got jammed, was not opening, & my dog was locked in the inside, he busted the door open to get her out! It was After Hours, I was so nervous/ scared, but Cody came to the rescue! The complex is even great down to the Security team. Joseph, the security guard is friendly and always on top of everything! He knows everybody &says hi every time he sees you. The only thing that could be better is beingable to have an easier transition with getting keys to my Dog Walker. But I understand the reasoning, it’s because they want to make sure Security is great &protected. That &I wish we had a parcel machine for packages, sometimes it’s tough to find your packages, but luckily I will say I have never had anything stolen ever! There’s been a few times where I’ve left a package in the room for a week because I was on vacation & was worried about it but I came back and it was perfectly OK! obviously sometimes you have not great people everywhere you go but thankfully knock on wood everything has been safe here. All of the residents in your neighbors are super nice and friendly too! Kinda expensive compared to other places but well worth it when it comes to customer service, management, maintenance, security, ease of location (in regard to going out- it’s super nice if you want to go to a Hollywood Palladium show or go downtown to the Hollywood walk of fame not having to worry about parking or your car being in danger.) and friendly trust worthy neighbors! Highly recommend! Also, at any point if you are unhappy with anything in your apartment, literally just talk to the lease company and they will work with you! Can I even express how much I appreciate it when my dog was really sick then realizing the reason she wasn’t getting better was because it was environmental… Just super appreciate The management and building being able to work with getting me a transfer and so I didn’t pay an arm and a leg as well as making it easy and giving me a little extra time to move units because I am a registered nurse and work super long days!
TLDR- Super dog, friendly lease manager Olivia is incredible! Fernando is your go to guy, especially when it comes to friendliness, good memory, genuinely cares, & I would say southern hospitality, even though he’s not from the south. Everyone else is nice, but Fernando goes above and beyond and really remembers your name & says hi to you every time he sees you, and also says hello to your dog and remembers your dogs name! And Cody, the maintenance guy Really genuinely cares about all of the residents and making sure everybody is happy with their home! And Joseph doesn’t job keeping the...
Read morePlease read my review before taking your money to these people. Terrible attitude from manager Fernando and the complex. My husband and I applied for an apartment and a $500 holding deposit was deducted from our account. The next day, our application was rejected and we called to find out when the $500 would be refunded to us, Fernando's manager said the money would be refunded to us in 3 days, but this did not happen. We had to call again, and this time, due to the poor work of the manager, we were told to wait 2 weeks for a refund of $500. After 2 weeks, we still have not received a refund of our money. When we called again, Fernando said that he had made a mistake again and had not done his job to get a refund and said we needed to wait another week. At the time of the call, 18 days had already passed. They are in no hurry to return the money and have done nothing to ensure that we receive a refund. The manager gets paid for his work and doesn't do it. As a result, we were told to wait another week for a refund receipt to be sent to us, although we made the payment with a card. We literally have to beg for a refund of our money, waste our time on calls, and in response we only hear that the manager is sorry that he didn't do his job and that they need time. They will take your money and spend it on the needs of the complex and the salary of a manager who is not doing his job. My husband and I sincerely do not understand why we should keep a holding deposit of $ 500 at all, this is not a small amount of money, especially when looking for housing. It doesn't make any sense.
UPDATE!!!!!!!
Today is February 24th, and exactly one month has passed since Hanover Hollywood did not return the $500 holding deposit to my husband and me!!!!!! This is not a deposit for the apartment, it is a holding deposit that they charge only for reviewing the application. I want to warn everyone who plans to give them their money, don't do it!! They will smile at you until they take your money. We spend a lot of time trying to get our money back, but the managers of this complex don't give a damn. We were only told that refunds are not part of the manager's responsibilities. Based on this, I have a question? And whose job is this? We are only told that they are sorry and that the money will be returned to us, but this does not happen. Fernando's manager is lying that they sent us a refund check for $500. It's been exactly a month, but just a week ago he asked for our address at all, so how did they try to refund us if they hadn't even asked for our address for 3 weeks? Let me remind you that we made the payment by CARD ONLINE. The manager says the receipt has been sent, but they can't tell us the tracking number. This situation takes a lot of energy, nerves and time from my husband and me, but the managers don't care. We also wrote to Olivia, who didn't take the time to respond and help us figure out...
