I have been here twice, the Korean food are absolutely authentic and decent. I highly recommend to prefer squid and pork belly fried rice, the mix of the Gochujang (Korean chilly paste) and pork belly combines super well, but the chilly paste didn’t exactly cover the pork bell, which means the dosing are very accurate. I also recommend to order clam soup, it’s fresh and the price is acceptable. The almond or walnut honey fried chicken are good as well, but it depends on can you get used to the sweet taste and sticky texture, but it’s crispy. The Korean Army stew is way too expensive ($36) with only 1 ~ 2 portion of instant noodle, a cheese, and full of spams and sausages. In the end, the army stew is way too salty because of spam and sausage. Last but not least, the most important, although it’s not the restaurant’s fault or not completely related, but it do affects the experience. The VALET parking is totally a SCAM, which I believe I’m not the only victim. One of the guy said $4 unlimited time, but after we finished eating, we went across the street to get some drinks, when we try to get our keys, they valet parking guys said you already leave the place, so we have to charge you $10, which they didn’t say it beforehand. We try to explain the misinformation we got, but the guy is super rude, and act like they’re busy and don’t want to give us our car back. They show us the sign(small and barley to see), and it did states the rules that $4 for only eat and go, but the weird part is the rules on the sign didn’t states $10 for violation, which means they just come up a number they want to SCAM, and I’m sure they have done it multiple times. If you don’t give them the money they ask for, they will try to threat you or act like they want to harm you. BE CAREFUL for the SCAM. Overall, good restaurants but poor parking experience and service. Once again...
Read moreWe actually were on our way to our usual spot to eat but we remembered seeing this place on Tik Tok. Its located in Alexandria Plaza and has a small parking lot but some spots are taken as valet. Good luck finding street parking. This area is very popular for youngsters and foodies like me! ;p This place was fun. TV's playing your favorite Korean music group. Tables and place was clean. Not for dates as it's loud in here even on a weekday.
We got lucky to find a table to eat. It got busy after we sat. A very popular restaurant and I understand why. Good food and good friendly service. There are many things to try but had to try their most popular item which was their 'Shrimp Rose Pasta'. So very good. Must try! Also, had their 'Booldak with Cheese'. They present this very hot! They blow torched the cheese in front of you! It's made of chicken and toboki with hash underneath. You can get this from mild to very spicy! Medium was not too spicy. This was pretty good but PRICY to me! Forty two bucks?! Last, we also ordered a classic, their 'Soy Garlic Wings'. If they can't get this right, there is something wrong here! Theses were crispy, crunchy and flavorful. Just the way I like it. Had to wash this all with two beers! Why not! LOL
Brought back some of the leftovers as this was too much for two people. I would still come back here. Good food and place to hang out with friends to have a drink. It was just a little pricy for my budget but once in a while...
Read moreAfter hearing rave reviews, I finally had the opportunity to try Louder's, and it did not disappoint—although there was quite a crowd when I arrived!
For anyone planning a visit, I recommend coming with a group so you can sample a variety of dishes. My dining companions and I decided to go all out and try a little bit of everything. From the highly recommended buldak to the indulgent carbonara pasta, truffle fries, soy garlic wings, and gochujang wings, we were in for a flavor-packed adventure.
The standout dish for me was undoubtedly the buldak. Bursting with flavor and boasting an impressive presentation, it was a true delight for the taste buds. Additionally, the Korean wings were a hit, thanks to their crispy breading and mouthwatering sauces.
While there was a bit of a wait due to the crowds, it was well worth it for the culinary experience that awaited us inside Louder's.
Overall, my visit to Louder's was a memorable one, and I can't wait to return with friends to explore more of their delicious offerings. If you're a fan of bold flavors and hearty portions, this is a dining destination you won't...
