My family and I came here for dinner last night before my sister leaves to go back to Davis. I been here before with my wife and she loves their Spaghetti with clams. We got seated right away when we walked in and saw that they use the robot to help bring your dish to your table. We started off with their Garlic Knots and bread basket. We liked the garlic knots more than the bread basket because it had more flavor. My parents got their North Atlantic Salmon and they loved their dish. I got the BBQ Chicken pizza medium size and I thought it was good. My sister got their Spaghetti marinara and they give you a big portion of this dish. Our food did take a while to come out so we were basically waiting after eating the bread. Our server was nice and attentive to our table when we needed something. The parking here is good, it's in a big plaza so you should be able to find parking.

We came here to celebrate our daughters graduation from Cal State Northridge! They had outdoor & indoor seating and we choose indoor. The restaurant was not big and was in a strip mall. It was not very crowded. We decided to get a bottle of wine as was better deal than glasses. Service was ok, waitress was friendly. The food has some good flavor and seemed authentic Italian. Portion size was average. We heard about this place being really good and it wasn’t bad, though not great. The robot waiter was a nice touch! After finished dining including drinking water & wine surprised to find bathroom was closed! It was real inconvenient and probably works for employees. After spending $145. for 3 people expected to be able to use the restroom. The sign didn’t say was broken-it said closed

One of my favourite Italian eateries to go to. Enjoyed last night's dinner over there in Northridge. I had my favourite Spaghetti Carbonara, my spouse had some vegan pasta with tomato sauce, and his brother had an anti-pasta salad. We also had some of those nice garlic bread knots. The food was fantastic. But what really made the evening was our server Humberto. From the minute we arrived, he did his very best to treat us like " royalty". Kind, friendly, and attentive. There was absolutely nothing he would not do for us. Always a smile and a good laugh. He is the kind of server you truly can wish for whenever you go out for dinner.

I was craving some Italian food so before I ordered online I saw this review and it caught my eye " Worst Italian restaurant I've been to in my 7 years living in the US. I ordered alfredo with chicken, no flavor, these guys have no idea what pasta is, the sauce was like milk, chicken like rubber and all this without flavor, I left the pasta almost untouched. I look at the comments after the restaurant and watch their representative or the owner apologize to the dissatisfied customers who were before me. It is funny, they just apologize and nothing changes"

Next I looked at the website and see the small plates they serve...wow kid size??. Then I checked the price... $25 dollars for a small plate of spaghetti ( 2 meat balls and less pasta to make the meatballs stand out I guess lol) ..so sad and you have to pay for the bread 1$ and .50 cent for butter??? yep 50 cent for butter??? Next, I made a note that yes, they Nickle and dime you like most. Now keep in mind, I still have this review stuck in my head now. So ....50 cent for a side of butter (Crazy) after I paid $30 for the food???. Next I saw that after every bad review, they only said sorry for you experience we'll check into that??? or they say we'll make sure they follow the recipe next time??? Then most reviews say the food has no taste or the portion was too small for the money??? I read thru the BS and said to myself no way am I setting my self up to pay $200 bucks for my co workers to eat lunch at a place that insults from the minute you walk in and imagine after all I've said they are expecting a tip??? This is literally the worst managed restaurant I've ever seen (ate once at the Woodland hills/Calabassas location food was horrible). They have no clue how to treat, or speak to people; let alone manage or run a business. The cruel irony is that they probably only get business because people are too lazy these days to drive elsewhere and with gas prices being what they are, they just settle for a mediocre experience with marias... or simply don't know any better. I see why they are still in business. But at this rate they wont be for long without life altering substantial changes starting with firing whomever thought it was a good idea to overcharge for little caesers or Sbarro type Italian food. Sbarro's is closing all stores I wonder why??? Save your money. If you want real Italian food. Try my go to when in DWTN LA. Its called " Colori's kitchen" trust me you'll be glad you did. Even "Macherroni Republic" is better they are just too snobbie for me. I hope you enjoyed my review of Maria's don't ever, ever,...

We order delivery last week. Chicken Marsala, and 2 linguine and clams with white sauce, linguine to be done well cooked. The linguine was aldermen in all dishes and could not be eaten. The chicken Marsala was unrecognizable. The Marsala sauce was like chicken broth. It looked like chicken in broth. I’ve had their chicken Marsala for 30 years and the sauce is not like broth. It has a thicker consistency and is light. Brown and creamy. I called and the manager said he would send another one. I received it, and it was another just like the first one. I called for the general manager the next day. He told me that the recipe is being changed and is still in the testing period. All of a sudden they change a recipe on chicken Marsala is was the best. I told him that no one would pay for two boiled looking chicken breasts in broth as Marsala. Tonight we took another chance and ordered from them again. Linguine in white clam sauce, linguini cooked well done. 2 orders of sesame chicken with linguine in lemon sauce, linguine done well on both orders. The clams dinners linguine was Alldente not cooked well. Both sesame chicken dinners came with linguine alldente and chicken well done. We couldn’t cut the chicken or chew the linguine. It is now 5 dishes we have dumped in the trash. We are disgusted and angry. Maria’s has been our go to place for 30 years. I cannot believe that the owner would change the recipe to something so horrible for Chicken Marsala. It was so horrible. My son and husband both had dental work and cannot chew the alldente pasta. This was such a...

After decades of being loyal customers, it's official: we're done with Maria's Italian Kitchen!! Not only are we priced out by yet another restaurant serving less and charging more, but the last meal my girlfriend and I ate at Maria's (chicken parmesan sandwich) just wasn't fresh, and made us both sick for hours. On this most recent visit, we shared a modest chicken parmesan sandwich, which came with a small side salad (no drinks), and we paid a whopping $23 after tax and tip (finding out when we got the bill that Maria's had increased the price of the sandwich even more since our last visit weeks prior from $17 to $18)!!! And to add insult to injury Maria's doesn't even offer the bread baskets for free anymore....charging an extra dollar for the most skimpy cut 4 slices of bread (more like bread bites). The atmosphere is nice at Maria's, and the server was really wonderful on this recent visit, but sadly this last visit will indeed be our LAST. We genuinely felt ripped off at Maria's, so we're done. We're sick and tired of this new restaurant business model of offering less and charging more....people don't want to pay nearly $30 for pasta dishes, and nearly $20 for sandwiches, and not even get a free bread basket!! Restaurants need to stop nickel and diming customers while blaming it all on inflation and shipping costs. Covid is over, and shipping delays have been remedied....bring the prices down, and stop pricing out...
