McDonald's — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The fries here are always cold and soggy and so bland. I can't remember the last time we got fresh, salted fries. My son loves McDonald's fries and insists on getting them, and this is the location closest to home.

The service is ok. It's hit or miss. Drive-thru is always busy. We always order through the app and pick up at the drive-thru. (They take forever to bring out your food if you do curbside) Just make sure you double-check your order before you drive off. Sometimes, they hand you a bag and walk away without saying anything. If you want any type of sauce, make sure you ask at the speaker. Apparently, they charge for them now, but they have no signs anywhere and they'll let you know at the pick up window (with an attitude) that they charge for them. I guess they expect you to hold up the line to pay 35 cents for a sauce. I dont mind paying, if I know ahead of time. Also, heads up, if you order from the app and they tell you something is not available, and/or substitute an item... make sure you check your receipt! The guy at the drive-thru told me the oreo frappe we ordered was not available and asked if we wanted something else instead. We asked for a frozen coke. When I pulled up to the 2nd window, I noticed they still charged me for the frappe, which is almost $3 more! Maybe not a big deal to some, but I work hard for my money! The worker didn't disclose that apparently they can't refund or credit anything ordered through the app unless you speak to a manager and they manually process a refund. It would've been nice (and his job) to let me know. I know that at the end of the day, it's my responsibility to check my receipts, but I assume that they would disclose that when they tell you something is not available. Went to this McDonald's on Huntington Drive in El Sereno after going to all 3 McDonald's locations and failed to get the 4 I'ce Creme Sundaes for my Family and I. Til this El Sereno location had my goods through the drive thru. Waited in a line out of the driveway but line moved pretty quick....soon as I knew it, I was at the first window paying, then picking up my desserts then, left the location heading for home in Alhambra Town, SGV where I reside and my people patiently waiting. See because I first went to the Alh Main Street location and for some reason or another there were 2 or 3 vehicles in the drive thru and like 4 or 5 other vehicles waiting for food blocking the whole lane. Then went to the Alh Valley Blvd location and the gentleman at the drive thru speaker told me that they had no one ice cream whatsoever. So, then, here I go to the Commonwealth Alhambra location and both lanes of the drive thru were closed and the door was.locked. two employees stood inside gesturing to me that they were closed??!! So I've had 3 experiences of something missing in my order. Keep in mind I've only been there around 1 am, 2 am when the traffic isn't heavy at all. The last straw was one night I thought i had order 2 10 pc nugget meals with fountain drink and vanilla shake jk. They never have the shake machine past im sure 8pm. I asked for the fries to be fresh just in case the cashier was so rude. I didn't get her name but she has blonde hair and wears glasses. You can tell she hates her job and takes it out on whoever whenever. Anyways she forgot a whole meal are didn't chatge me and then tried to upcharge me on sauce. Lastly I give alot of the patience to the fast food employees its a hard job I get it. But still it's a job and where I'm from you treat customers with respect regardless of anything. I will never go there ever ever after that. I even went to the manager prior to this and told him that the evening crew is always forgetting items.
