Thank you Palermo, for being a cozy, neighborhood gem for Los Feliz residents.

Palermo is warm, welcoming, unpretentious, and classic. It is the kind of place you can duck into for a pizza with the family, or tiramisu and port with mom. You can be as fancy or as casual as you wish, while still getting greeted with enthusiasm and charm by the staff. No need to "be" anything or impress anyone here - it's just good food with good people.

The interior is just what comes to mind when you conjure up visions of 'neighborhood Italian restaurant' in your head. Low lights, leather booths, the smell of Bolognese in the air, and everything is clean as a whistle! (No dust on the fixtures here, no sir).

The food is well priced and good quality. Classic mid century American Italian faire with iceberg lettuce salads and spaghetti aplenty. The pizza is actually quite good, they make a crumbly, toothsome crust. The real standout is the linguine with clams - real chopped clams in white wine! Not a hint of clam juice to be found.

Palermo also has an incredible wine selection. They won't list all of their wines on the menu, but if you ask the staff for something particular they'll probably be able to...

I’ve been coming to this family owned restaurant for over 20 years. The food is great, but the owner Tony makes the experience here the best!

Came here this past weekend for my Mother’s B-Day. Tony the owner made her birthday one to remember. He had his accordion player come in and serenade my mother. It was fabulous and everyone enjoyed it.

We ordered two pizzas, veal, piccata, lasagna with meat sauce, spaghetti and meatballs, clam linguine with white sauce, and fettuccine Alfredo. As a token to my mothers birthday, Tony also gave us sautéed mushrooms on the house.

This is the only restaurant that I know of in the area that actually serves veal piccata. It comes with super salad, spaghetti, which you can choose, marinara, or meat sauce, and of course the entrée. For the price and all the food you get it’s definitely worth it . Everyone loved their food.

Everyone was so happy with their food. There were no complaints. We ended the birthday with some of Tony’s famous tiramisu.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service is fantastic, there’s a lot of history here, and the food is...

Servers very attentive, we went for a quick lunch, got the spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, and fried zucchini. If you're looking for an Italian spot to take you into a flash of Italy, come on in, the sauce the sauce the sauce! Now I'm not a chef , but man that spaghetti with meat sauce was so flavorful, very rich in taste, even though we didn't order a lot, we were quite satisfied with the classic spaghetti! They serve you a fresh made salad, even the salad was delicious and I'm not the type of person to eat salad. I noticed they have a small bar with varieties of red wines 🍷 the staff treats you like family and I think that's what stands out a lot besides the rich flavorful pasta ❤️ we will be coming back to enjoy a nice dinner date soon ❤️ the ambience just feels like I'm right at my Italian mother if I was Italian of course haha, wonderful service,...
