Placed an online order pick up. My pizza was cold nor was my order complete. Seems I have to go out of the " hood" to get decent Papa John's Pizza. This is horrible. Ordered 2 additional garlic dipping sauce didn't receive it but was charged for 2 extras. If I could give a half star that's what I would have done. I need a refund. Have to put the pizza in the oven to warm it up. Was in their parking lot waiting for the pizza. I drove 2 blocks no reason for my pizza to be cold. Received an email from Jarvis Young, owner on August 21, 2023 at 8 am apologizing for not implementing my refund for the pizzas that he promised he would credit to my card. Jarvis further stated after personally verifying my account with Papa John's, that a refund was submitted and allow 3-5 business days for the refund to be reflected in my account. Jarvis further stated he apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused on my end. Well Jarvis Young, it's been 14 business I still haven't received a refund for either pizza I purchased. One using my bank card and the second order I paid in cash. My initial feedback was July 29, 2023 at which time I received an email from Jarvis Young apologizing and promising I would receive a refund. On August 20, 2023 at 11:29 am, I reached out to Jarvis Young via email advising him that I hadn't received a refund for either pizza. Jarvis Young replied August 21, 2023 at 8 am Jarvis Young relied to my email [his respose is at the beginning] Jarvis Young when will I receive my refunds as you promised via emails. I've waited more than enough time without further communication from you. Though I try to patronize Black businesses, this is an example why I prefer not to. I don't enjoy leaving less than five stars but with this experience, your company doesn't deserve one star and others should know what they may expect. Prayerfully they receive better service and their orders are edible. Neither pizzas were. If children complain that's a serious issue. Yes, I would like a refund for both pizzas one that was purchased using my card and the second paid with cash.
