Philly's Best Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Philly’s Best in Encino is hands down one of our favorite spots for sandwiches! Of course, the cheesesteaks are incredible — but what really makes every visit even better are all the extras that keep us coming back.

The hoagie spread is delicious — and it’s not just for hoagies! We add it to almost any sandwich for that extra flavor and little kick. My kids have their own go-to orders: my daughter loves the chicken strips (they’re always fresh and perfectly crispy), and my son never misses his chicken bacon sandwich (he calls it that every time — I believe it’s officially called the Chicken & Bacon Ranch). Oh, and we can’t forget the Pepperoni Steak — another favorite in our house.

My husband rotates depending on his mood: it’s either the tuna or turkey hoagie when he wants something lighter, or on a cheat day, it’s always the classic Philly’s Best Steak Sandwich.

The staff is always friendly, everything is made fresh, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Whether you’re a Philly native or just craving a great sandwich in the Valley, you won’t be disappointed....

Excellent! The sandwiches, fries, and my absolute favorite (made io the premises fresh by thent!) pickles are consistently delicious and made to order Sindy and Cristian were so kind to me and packed me up some extra pickles to enjoy with my sandwich that it made me love this place even more! It's very clean inside too, always something I feel most people look for.

They share the Encino Commons parking lot with the other businesses so parking is free and plentiful, but can be challenging if you arrive during the dinner rush. There's also metered street parking available.

I only recently tried these Philly cheese steak sandwiches, so I'm late to the party, but making up for lost time 😄👍 and my favorite option here is the mushroom steak, with cheese added. There are 3 cheeses you can choose from, and the provolone is so good! A sandwich with fries and a drink will only set you back about $11-13, which I think is reasonable considering how filling they...

I'm always on the lookout for a good cheesesteak. They are surprisingly difficult to find, especially in the valley. Phillys Best was a very pleasant surprise.

If you're looking for an authentic (as close as you can get) philly experience, this is the place to visit.

The cheesesteak is served on soft, fresh, bread from the east coast. The ratio of meat to bread is perfect. I ordered mine wit (with grilled onions) and got a hot, perfectly seasoned, gooey, and very flavorful cheesesteak. Thinly sliced beef, and the right amount of white cheese.

Portion size is good too. One cheesesteak will fill you up for sure. We got onion rings and a fountain drink, and it was under $25 with tip.

If i had to critique something, it would be the grilled onions, i like mine to have a bit more color on them.
