Pop's Bagels — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The girl at the front counter really needs to consider a career change I waited over 20 minutes and she couldn’t even make me 4 bagels. This girl works at a snails pace. There are at least four guys in the back and none of them could help her and she gives me the excuse that they Bakers. This company is literally gonna go bankrupt if they continue this type of customer service. Obviously it’s not her fault that she’s slow and incompetent but maybe they could’ve considered hiring someone more appropriate Maybe they’re trying to save money on employees but really this is gonna be my last time ever going there I got a refund hopefully it went through if it didn’t you will be hearing from me The poor girl did not look like she knew what she was doing and she was working so slow. This girl should not be working at a bagel shop she should be sitting at home on the couch eating...

Second time ordering from my local Fairfax Pops Bagels. Switched from my years long fave bagel store. BOTH TIMES I ordered I asked for Half & Half in my orders of 6 coffees , and second order of 2 coffees ( I got smart ) and asked BOTH times for extra toasted and utensils & napkins !! ZERO received in BOTH orders. REALLY 100% can’t trust them at this point. Who doesn’t give you cream or milk for your coffee ???!!! Are much more expensive than my other neighborhood bagel shop btw. Happy to pay Pop’s for their better product but can’t drink the coffee I bought without milk at least .. AND Why put a choice of “ EXTRA TOASTED “ if you DON’T even toast it lightly ???!!! Totally un toasted on both of my separate orders. Sorry , I’m not going out to buy milk for my coffee I order guys .. non toasted bagels is a no too. POPS DOES NOT FOLLOW ANYTHING ON THEIR ORDERS...

There are certain orders i have for different types of food/drink places as a basic test. For coffee shops, it's a cappuccino: if a coffee place can't make a passable cappuccino they don't know what they are doing. For bagel places it's a plain bagel with butter. Sorry, but I'm not going to spent 20 bucks on a bagel sandwich if you can't get a 3 dollar bagel with butter right. The plain bagel with butter here was awful. The bagel was over-bready and the butter was barely melted and might have been margarine. The combination was hardly edible. Not a good bagel compared to say, the bagel broker, down the road. ...
