Sharky's Woodfired Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I am a Fin Addict, so I love Sharky's food. I happened to notice that this location was in a Plaza I needed to visit, on March 4, 2022, to take care of some business. I was happy because I could take care of my business and then get the food I love.

Unfortunately, I was left wishing I had never gone to this location. I went inside to pick-up my order, because I placed my order over the phone. There was a short line, so I waited. When I finally made it to the counter, the person did not greet me at all. It was not so busy that they were working like crazy and barely had time to keep up, so there was no excuse. I thought, "Wow, nothing. Ok!." I just told the man that I was there to pick-up a phone order and gave him my name. I paid and I was told it would be a bit longer for my order. So, I waited and finally received my order.

I could not wait to get home to eat it, until I took it out and looked at part of my order. I ordered the Wild Salmon Light Burrito and the Kid's Power Plate (Salmon, brown rice, and broccoli). When I looked at the Kid's Power Plate, I was very disappointed because there was barely any salmon. I then wondered what I had paid for, since that was the most expensive item. Not to mention that the salmon for both orders was very dry.

I really wanted to return the order but, I was at home, a distance away, and it was late at night (my daughter should have already been in bed). I was really disappointed to say the least and I paid for it. I have never had such a negative experience at a Sharky's location before.

I have not and do not plan to return to this Sharky's Woodfired Mexican Grill Location. In addition, I definitely would not recommend...

Sharkey’s Mexican Grill - Woodland Hills

Sharkey’s Mexican Grill in Woodland Hills has become one of my family’s favorite spots for a delicious and healthy meal. The Fiesta Burrito is my go-to—it’s perfectly flavorful and always satisfying. My son loves the Power Plate with chicken, brown rice, and broccoli; it’s a balanced and hearty option that keeps him full and happy. My wife swears by the Caesar Chicken Burrito, which combines fresh ingredients with incredible flavor.

What really sets Sharkey’s apart is their outstanding customer service. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and ready to make sure your experience is top-notch. Whether we’re dining in or picking up an order, everything runs smoothly, and the team always makes us feel welcome.

Sharky’s is a staple - great-quality Tex-Mex food at very reasonable prices! Not many restaurants of this cuisine use organic, natural ingredients, so it’s really nice to see one that does. They have an incredible gluten-free selection too! You need to try a bunch of different things from the menu because it’s all good - their burritos are huge and top-notch, tacos are very flavorful with any protein (especially with the new crispy cheese option), their guacamole is great, power plates and bowls are perfect for lower-calorie eaters, nachos are the best we’ve ever had, and even the salads are REALLY good as well!! It doesn’t matter if you get steak, chicken or salmon - all the proteins are great, and we absolutely love the salsa bar after you order. Get them all and have the freedom to choose which one you like best! All in all, this is perfect to satisfy your Tex-Mex cravings - ditch Chipotle and get something way...
