It's a small little place with some good ice cream. So, expect a line but it goes fast. They have an automated ordering stand that is easy to place orders on. They have their regular flavors and weekly specials so there is enough of a variety to not get old if you go there regularly enough. It does get a little hectic in that the place is so small but it's inside a outdoor shopping center so it's easy enough to place your order and then step outside to wait for your order. I ordered the cookies & cream and Ube combo. The ice cream is creamy and not "icy." I love Ube ice cream but at Somi Somi, the Ube flavor is very muted. It's still good, but don't very subtle. You can order the ice cream in the fish cone (made FRESH!!!) lined with hazelnut spread or custard or plain. You get a decent amount of ice cream so I order the cone with a cup. We came here on a Sunday night and there was still a long line and wait. Somi Somi is located on the second floor in the plaza which has a parking garage right next to it. You order on the kiosk then the workers will call your name when they're ready for you.

Ube and Cookies 'N Cream Swirl Upside Down Ahboong ($5.95): You can choose your The soft serve has a strong dairy taste even though they use lactose-free milk. The flavors aren't overpowering. The 2 flavors worked together. The ube was better to me. The cookies 'n cream was not sweet enough for me to think of this flavor.

Taiyaki (2 for $3.75, 5 for $7.95): You get to choose your flavors which are the fillings inside the fish shaped cake. We got Nutella, custard, red bean, taro, & Oreo. I had been here before in 2017 before the pandemic. They change out their flavors quite often. Last time I went I had a black sesame seed and matcha twirl inside the classic fish body cone. Today I had a mixture of horchata with cookies and cream inside the classic fish body cone.

It was just as delicious as I remember it being.

However what has changed is the people that work there no longer take your order. So we stood there awkwardly for like 10 minutes waiting to be addressed by them I thought they were just busy. Finally the gal turned to us and said you have to order on the screens. It's fine We ordered on the screens and it was super easy You punch your phone number in and they text you when it's ready.
