I was looking for a self-portrait photo studio to celebrate a few milestones in our family, and then I found this studio on IG. Before booking, I had concerns about whether this studio provides professional photo services with comfortable vibes especially for my dad who has a disability. As soon as I walked in, I realized that I made the right decision. The studio is clean and spacious for a group session and has great amenities (i.e., a couch to rest, a clean bathroom, various props, cozy music and lighting, etc.) and nice staff (Joshua and his furry assistant, Bunny Bunny). I booked two sessions (50 min) so I can give a plenty time for my disabled dad to adjust his pose and take pictures. We had more than enough time to do different combinations (portraits, parents, siblings, group pictures, etc.) and the pictures came out so beautifully! Their prices are very reasonable and you get digital copies AND a few prints after edits. They provide parking but I would recommend you plan ahead of time because accessing the building might take some time. I'm so glad that I found this studio and I will come back here for other occasions in...

I came across InThe Square_LA on Instagram, and I was immediately interested because of the self-directed nature of the photoshoot. As someone who isn’t very photogenic, I often feel a form of performance anxiety when getting my photo taken, as if it’s my responsibility to make sure the photo comes out nicely. However, with the self-click feature, my fiancé and I had the freedom to take as many photos as we liked within the allotted time period, engaging in trial and error shots that effectively resulted in finding our “creative groove.” Mr. Joseph was also very informative, clearly articulating the directions and made the overall process really smooth. This studio was so so cute!! The ambiance/vibes are very cozy with the music and lighting. It’s nice that you get to take the photos yourself with a clicker, as it allowed us to feel more natural and comfortable in front of the camera. I thought the 25 minutes was going to go by super quickly but honestly it was plenty of time! Our family got to take group photos, individual photos, sibling photos, and parent photos! Joshua was very helpful with posing and using the camera. The props and background were simple but in the best way! Very easy to incorporate into our photos and they came out so beautifully!!!
