A friend suggested this place and told me they use potato flour on their donuts. The place was clean and well maintained. I tried their ham & cheese croissant and their glazed cronut. The ham & cheese croissant was surprisingly well made. It was soft and fluffy. Not as crusty as the usual donut shop croissant so when you bite on it no crust pieces fall on you. The slices ham inside was thick and meaty. One of the best ham and cheese croissant I've had. Great value for only $3.50. The cronut was not the best I've had but tasted pretty good. A bit too sweet for my liking. 0Compared to other cronuts this was more like a pseudo cronut. The lower base part was more like a donut dough. It barely had the thin fluffy layers of a cronut. It had a good amount of glaze icing. Still not bad for the price which was only $2.50 The accepts debit/credit which was a pleasant surprise. Usually donut places only take cash. The people working there were very friendly and accomodating. You can tell they were smiling even with a mask on. Has decent amount of parking. Although it gets busy depending on the time of day. I went in the morning and there were already a few cars parked.

Spudnuts half dozen variety - 5 🌟! I ventured towards USC to find the closest Spudnuts. They seem pretty locked into a traditional donut style with a great variety of yeast, cake donuts and cronuts. It was pretty busy when I went which is a nice sign. The donuts were all tasty. They had great dough, the yeast style being my preference. Any time I go to a new donut place I always get a classic glazed raised donut and theirs was especially good. Their menu has a lot of other options like beverages and breakfast sandwiches but when donut is in the name, that's what I'll try first every time.

Super delicious and great variety of donuts and other baked goods! I've enjoyed every single donut I've tried from here. They have some yummy smoothies, too. The location is very clean and a bit small, so it can get really full and busy at peak hours. But it makes sense because the donuts are so good. :) It's very popular among USC students and locals. The employees are very nice and efficient. I'll definitely be returning. Plenty of vegetarian options. Not sure about other dietary restrictions, but if you ask the employees they will likely inform you.

I was overall okay with this place.

If you have read my other reviews you would know that I am a nationally renowned donut reviewer. I am above the top 10% of donor reviews on Google maps. I know what I'm talking about when it comes to reviewing donuts. I have sampled Donuts from far and wide across the country at every level of sophistication. I tend to prefer the simpler fare which I would say spudnuts belongs to.

I purchased two Donuts via the kiosk in the store. I was disappointed that using the kiosks was basically pointless and that people who chose to just order directly from the staff were served much quicker.

I purchased a glazed donut which was quite good. The yeast of the donut was not overpowering or nullifying to its flavor and the amount of glaze was I would say just about right. I also got a Boston cream which I unfortunately cannot speak as highly of. Wow its ingredients seem to be a fine quality, the construction was lacking in the donut fissured half way through before I even had a chance to bite into the cream.

The glazed donuts performance carried this restaurant into the positive territory but I would say it ranks closer to the bottom of my reviews of California based...

Food itself is pretty good when it gets done at least. And normally they're on top of it, staff is all friendly, usually have no issues but recently it's been off and on.

Only person in the store, at 3am, took 25 minute just to get a sandwich... And it was made wrong.

Went again a week later, waited 30 minutes and three other people got their order before me, gave them a receipt and they forgot to make it. Has happened twice here already, normally they're good, other times just have mistakes.

We'll still continue to come back as it's one of the few spots. That's 24 hours and have good food that's reasonably priced, but have to be honest with reviews, still would recommend any of their...
