This place literally stole money from me. On April 29th at 10:33pm I ordered and prepaid for about $40 worth of pickup for this place because the their hours listed on google said they were open. I went to go pick up the food and the place was closed, which is already an inconvenience, but on top of that they refuse to give me a REFUND for food I never received. First off, don’t list your restaurant as open on google and don’t leave the option to place orders after hours so customers don’t get charged for food for a closed restaurant. On top of that, I have contacted the restaurant and spoke to the owner directly on the phone, and have spent that last 2 days trying to get my money back and stressing over something I should have been refunded on instantly. The owner literally advised me commit credit card fraud. She also told me “We don’t get money from 3rd party food apps until 2 months later”. Well it’s literally June and I’m talking about an order I place in April, and either way your business is still getting the money so why in the world would you not refund a customer for food they never received. Plus, since I ordered pick up, I know I was charged through the restaurant directly, and not through a 3rd Party Food Service App because my credit card statement said I was charged directly by Momota Ramen House and lists none of the 3rd Party Apps this restaurant uses. I wouldn’t even be trying so hard to get my money back if this place was reasonably priced, but it was the fact that I was charged almost $40 for a SINGLE bowl of ramen. It’s one thing to have bad food and it’s another to STEAL money from customers.

A nice small Ramen house near USC. It has decent seating inside. I got their Ramen and Takoyaki. Their Ramen was pretty good. The broth tasted just right, flavourful but not too salty. It had a good amount of ingredients in a large bowl. I like how the meat was seared but still soft and tender to bite. The noodles were nice and chewy. It took awhile for my order to arrive, around 15 minutes. I guess they make the food from scratch once you order. My first time trying a takoyaki so I can't compare it to others. But I did enjoy how is was crunchy in the outside and gelatinous with some gooey texture in the inside. It had a small piece of squid. Had a tasty sauce and some kind of fish flakes as toppings in the outside. The place had very simple interior design. Had 3 tvs with some anime showing. Their customer service was ok. They were not that chatty but would answer my questions accordingly. They have restrooms available for customers. The parking is adequate but it can get busy with all the other shops around it. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience and was satisfied. I wouldn't mind going back to try their other dishes.

Came here after a visit to the science center. It is in a little shopping complex. There are quite a few restaurants so it's hard to find parking. There were a few cars double-parked presumably picking up takeout. There is also metered street parking. We first chose a meter that had some time but then saw someone come out of a stall so snagged it. The restaurant is pretty non-descript. It was quite busy but there was an open table for 4 that they gave us. We waited quite a while for menus before I just took one from the table beside us. We ordered 2 Tonkotsu Ramen special combos. Combos include a roll for $9 so we got a California and Spicy Tuna. Also ordered Shrimp tempura roll and fried squid legs. Everything was really good. The squid legs was one of the best I've had. Service was better after the initial not getting menus. By the time we were finished the dinner rush had cleared out. To access restrooms you had to walk through the kitchen which I thought was weird. Food was great which is the important thing.

The person who attended us had sort of an attitude like he didn't want to be there anymore. He turned right to his cell phone the minute he handed me my receipt.

I waited inside for my food to be prepared (prompt service). Here, they serve you broth separate in order for the ramen to have great texture, but I didnt get that experience. By the time I got to my car to eat it (which wasn't long) the ramen was stuck together and clumped together at the bottom of the bowl. It looked as if it was sitting in that bowl for a while to take a shape like that (this leads me to believe the ramen is not freshly cooked, boiled, or warmed ). Maybe they have the ramen and toppings prepped already? Once ordered they just torch the pork and serve broth in separate bowl, according to what I observed. The pork had a nice flavor and so did the broth which was pretty spicy for a medium(positive). It also had soft boiled egg, wood ear mushroom, baby bok choy, corn, bean sprouts, & green onion. I really wish the ramen would have been fresh so I could enjoy with my toppings, but I found myself taking bites of the ramen clumps instead. Still pretty yummy though. The california rolls were good too. Comes with ginger and wasabi. Not worth $6 to add on as combo, nor $8 alone.

I ordered the chicken ramen for my boyfriend. All it came with was chicken, lots of diced white onion, lots of green onion, and bean sprouts. Chicken broth separate. The chicken was cold and chewy, and the broth itself had little flavor. This was a disappointment. The pork rice was ordered for $6 to make as combo which turned out to be quite delicious.

Total came out to almost $47. Quality wasnt the best, I would have preferred to have Ramen at Little Tokyo. I probably won't go here again. Only recomend the spicy miso soup and pork rice!

As a redemption to our visit we went next door to Pot of Cha which...

I suggest not coming here at night if you’re expecting dining services. This is like the 4th time I came here at night and the staff are so negligent. They’re more focused on gossiping and planning fun outside of work. When I walked in, it took them 5 minutes to realize I was there. From seating to order served, I was ignored afterwards while the front staff just continued to socialize. I noticed the patrons around me were ignored as well. Then after I completed my dish I asked for the check, it took them 10 minutes more left me wondering where my check is. I even had to look back what they’re doing while I hear loud chattering. As soon as they noticed my body position, they finally gave me my check. This whole entire time, they were just chattering. Out of my visits, I came to realize, there is a short female staff always here, (never got her name) that’s possibly creating this culture and environment. I feel she may need to be coached for professionalism. I really enjoyed this restaurant since the day it opened because I really liked the manager and food when I visit during the day. Felt nice the manager always remembered my order and made me feel like family and have great conversations with her. I don’t know if she’s aware how lazy her staff are at night. Most likely won’t come back here at night any more which...
