If I wanna get high, I buy a pot…of tea. YOLO. Pot of Cha (means of Tea) is a small new tea shop in downtown LA. They’re located in a small plaza on Figueroa street and W 30th street near USC. One thing that they boast about was with the quality tea leaves they used. They blend them into unique and delicious signature beverages. Moreover, their brewing method involves high quality tea leaves, clean water, proper tea containers, and the right temperature for each of our premium tea. I came here on a late evening and still flocked by young college students (see pic). It’s indoor vibe is modest and banal but whatever they lack in interior design they superseded it in their teas they serve. I was quiescent as I stare at their extensive menu list of bubble teas. I ordered the Hawaiian Green Tea with boba pearl. It was ridiculously good!! The tea flavor was excellent and the sweet boba pearls were soft and chewy. I was wrong to surmise at the beginning that they were typical tea shop. Prices were very affordable and competitive. Parking lot was small thus limited spot but I had no trouble finding a spot. Staff were competent, amiable and professional. Service was on point. Overall, it is my highest recommendation that you visit...
Read moreI actually really enjoyed this place due to the proximity to my apartment. Me and my roommates were regulars. However, the last time I went there my service was awful. First, my boba order was left to sit out for about 30 mins as they forgot to give me my order. Upon asking a red-headed with black roots working there if I could get another drink, she proceeded to roll her eyes at me. She had been rude to other customers before me as well. When I finally got my drink, I asked to speak to the manager and was met by a cold shoulder from both the workers and the manager. As someone who has worked in fast food and retail, ik that customers can be a pain sometimes. However, I also know that you can stay professional and keep your cool when working with customers. Pot of Cha need to teach this to their new hires, as those are the ones that have attitude problems. I won't be back and I'll be getting my...
Read moreGood milk teas and boba~ One of the few boba shops that offers mini boba!... Great for my jaw pain!😢 They offer less commonly known tea blends (at least for me😔) like Thai Green Milk Tea or Phoenix Oolong.
Service wiseee, friendly and helpful. 😊👌 Don't forget to tip what you can and be patient! (esp during the pandemic) Bobaristas most likely have other time sensitive tasks like cooking boba and cleaning. Along with other orders thru delivery apps.
If you'd like to adjust to your taste you can change Sugar Level (if ajustable),Ice Level ,and add Toppings like boba. ❗Important to state while ordering so they don't have to remake your drink.❗
If you are in a rush 🏃💨 or ordering before closing,🛑 I reccomend ordering something like a milk tea🐮 or pure tea.🍵 They tend to be faster to make vs a blended drink.❄
+1 star for the sturdy drink carriers.
