Overall: 2.7/5 (Ubereats)
We just got out of our workout class and we're browsing on Ubereats. We stumbled upon this place which had a BOGO poke bowl which sounded promising. It was 10 minutes until closing so we were under time pressure to get everything added to the cart and check out before closing so we didn't get to cross check the reviews on Yelp. That was our mistake. The food came within 30 minutes and was packaged nicely.
Single Poke 1 Scoop ($12.95): You can customize your poke bowl but a lot of things were extra (certain toppings, protein, base; adding an egg). We got half white and half brown rice, Hawaiian salmon, red onion, green onion, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeno, wasabi, toasted sesame seeds, eel sauce, & creamy wasabi. Sounds good right? Well when it arrived, it was not in a bowl but in a small clear appetizer container. You can see there are inconsistencies in portion size for the 2 bowls. The Hawaiian salmon was warm and not fresh so I could only eat about half of it. The creamy wasabi was like the shrimp's sauce where it was creamy but didn't add flavor or spiciness. This was the worse poke bowl we've had. Thank goodness it was BOGO; otherwise we would be pretty upset at being ripped off.
Bread Shrimp ($6.99): This order came with 6 pieces of breaded shrimp on top of shredded cabbage, a lot of rice, and an orange sauce on the side. In terms of money, it's worth it. In terms of taste, it was sad. The sauce wasn't good, just creamy. The shrimp was also tasteless. The shrimps did taste better the next day when I air fried them.
Crispy Chicken Burger ($7.99): This was the best of the 3 items. The burger was pretty big and actually had flavors. We got honey butter sauce for the fried chicken. It's definitely not compatible to honey butter Korean fried chicken wings. The chicken was crispy but it just didn't taste right. Everything else that made up the burger was pretty good though. You get a lot of flavor from the pickle which was sliced vertically and...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant, and I want to share my honest experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the place itself looked clean, well-maintained, and had the charm of what seems to be a small, family-owned, single-location business.
That being said, I found the food to be underwhelming for the price. I ordered a burrito, which was extremely expensive compared to similar spots in the area. The tortilla seemed like it had just come straight out of the pack, the egg was unseasoned, the hash browns and sausage were basic, and the cheese didn’t melt or blend well into the burrito.
Overall, while the atmosphere and service were good, I don’t feel the quality of the food matched the high price point. With a few improvements in flavor and preparation, this place could...
Read moreThe Breakfast Burrito Factory was able to promptly get my order for 30 various breakfast burritos ready at the time I requested them to be ready AND they helped me load the order into my car. Everyone thought that the portions were huge, but hugely delicious! I enjoyed the Impossible Sausage Burrito. The crunch from the tater tots really added to the texture and flavor of the burrito and I enjoyed it with their red sauce. I have one start for atmosphere because it's not a spot to have a meal in, but it is a great spot to pick up from! I will consider The Breakfast Burrito Factory again for large meeting orders or when I am in...
